First Month of Bronco Allocations - The Timestamp is only ONE factor

my order is almost the same. BB, 4Dr, 2.7, sas, MIC top, 7/29 reservation. Nothing yet from ford. When I placed my order in January, I was out of their allocation, #99 out of 50 but haven’t gotten any updates of any changes since then. Do you know what number your allocation was in line? Hoping mine will be scheduled in the coming months in yours was almost the exact same. Unless you received a priory order

My dealer was never able to tell me any information as to how many allocations they had or what place I was in line. The only thing they told me is they had 25 reservations and I don’t know how many of those converted. And as far as being a priority I doubt I am. This is the first vehicle I have gotten from them and they have not contacted me to advise I was a priority

Also, despite being a 2-door devotee, had Ford informed us up front last year at the time of reservations that it would be harder to get a 2-door and a longer wait, I'd have considered SPENDING MORE WITH FORD to get a 4-door and upgrade to hard top.

This is bad business.

Ford literally had a list of items that could potentially delay your Bronco and 2 door was indeed on that list. The list was posted here before we placed orders and had you done your due diligence you would have placed an order for a 4 door instead of a 2 door.

Cool. I didn’t know this board existed until after March 19, so how would I know? Ford didn’t tell me. Is Googling stuff I couldn’t imagine out of thin air the appropriate due diligence? Google, will ordering a 2-door Ford Bronco be an issue?

Ford simply emailed me that I had to place my order by 3/19. My dealer never contacted me at all at any point until I contacted them to make sure they converted my reservation to an order in time.

Neither entity ever told me I needed to sift through a message board to solve the mystery I didn’t know existed.

I had no issue finding this place shortly after I placed a reservation...I assume you reserved early considering the hand wringing and if that was the case you literally had SEVERAL months to research the vehicle, this forum or even social media groups or Youtube where the potential delays could possibly be. I'm also thinking we received an email from Ford on commodity constraints and high demand items as well but I could be wrong. Either way you had ample time to research what you were ordering before you ordered it.

When I finally became aware 2-door is somehow a deadly sin (still baffling for a Bronco), it was the only deadly sin I had, so I didn’t change it in April. And yet I see 2-doors being built in June, while learning just this week (again, on a message board that shows me an update email Ford didn’t bother sending me at all), that 2-door is maybe the BIGGEST issue.

So it seems ultimately there is no rhyme or reason.

The email from Ford denoting possible constraints including the 2 door was sent out to reservation holders on January 15th. Search your spam folder.

I had read articles online about the Bronco. Why is it on me to have to investigate updates from Ford rather than them update me? Yes, I reserved early. I only found this board after my dealer failed to contact me to take my order after Ford told me in January the dealer would be in touch. I was forced to find info on my own. Why do you think this isn’t the responsibility of the dealer and Ford? Should I build my own Bronco at home, too, and send myself updates?

Yes it’s a shit show. But continuing to bitch about it ain’t gonna change a GD thing.

I admit I was wrong. I did get this, I see. It’s down in the email that said my dealer would be contacting me to get my order squared away, which never happened.

Still mind-blowing that 2-door is a delay. For a Bronco. The rest of my build is pure Base.

the number that was given to dealers wasn't final until March I believe. The first number my dealer gave was like 78 back in January or something but after the order deadline in March the number was increased to over 100.

Nothing is guaranteed at this point... Too many factors in play...

I know people don't want to hear this, but the big Ford Dealerships that sell lots of vehicles will get their BIG allocations. Ford won't screw over their biggest customers, that's just sales 101.

Do you know of any dealers with over 200 Bronco 2-door and 4-door allocations for 21MY besides Granger? If so, please post their names.

Due to commodity constraints there appears to be no real guarantee for anybody. I am in the middle of my dealers allocations but have a Sasquatch and MIC top. Either of those could cause me to either get my Bronco late or not at all for MY21 even though I have an early AM 7/14 timestamp which now appears to be irrelevant.
