We have a may 17 and May 24 build date on ours. I posted that yesterday as well. Nice to know and I'm excited
You have a May build date for a full size Bronco? I thought we wouldn't learn that until Ford contacted us in May.

I work for Ray Price Stroud Ford and Lincoln in Northeast PA. I am the Bronco Specialist for the store.
So how do you have build dates when Ford isn't releasing that info until May?

As a reminder, here is what Ford shared in my order confirmation e-mail:

Bronco™ SUV deliveries will begin in summer 2021 and based on current demand will extend through the 2022 calendar year. We anticipate some customers will receive a 2022 model‑year Bronco. The actual delivery date of your Bronco will depend on reservation timestamp, vehicle model and configuration selected, part constraints and the number of Bronco vehicles your dealer will receive. Throughout the production process, we will keep you updated on the status of your Bronco and email you an estimated delivery window. You will also receive an email when your Bronco OUTER BANKS is:
• Scheduled for Production — all necessary parts are secured, and your order has been placed in the production schedule.
• Built — your vehicle has been built, and we will let you know of the estimated arrival date at your dealership.
• Shipped — your vehicle has been shipped, is on its way to your dealership, and we’ll include the latest estimated arrival date.

While not a perfect predictor, I have some insight on when the first Retail Broncos might get shipped.

We have two Mannequin Broncos that 'Should' get produced before retail orders. One is estimated to be built in the week of 5/17/21 and another in the week of 5/31/21. A safe guess is that those will take 4 weeks to show up at our store, so assume the last one will arrive late June.

I'm not sure where our mannequins fall in line compared to other dealers production timeline. But guess that ours is closer to the end of the line. That puts really late June or first part of July as the start of retail order delivery.

Just thought I'd pass that along.
Is the 1st retail order about 2020 orders?

Do they really take a whole month from the time they’re built to get to your dealership?

This is for a mannequin. Dealerships are getting these made before retail builds and they are to be used for promotional purposes for at least 7 months. Totally different set of rules compare to you and I.

The Ford marketing folks I talked to this morning at a Bronco event agree the retail deliveries should start in June. Lots of variables still, but my hope is still to eat and ice cream cone with the top and doors off on 4th of July in my new Bronco. (day 1 order, order 1 at my small dealer. 1 deadly order item, 2.7, that I am flexible on if it’s driving a big delay.

Something to ponder. What gets priority for 2.7's? F150 or cars, Bronco's? Of course since the Broncos are new, I feel they should get priority, not that I'm biased or anything.

Depends where the dealership is. MAP to San Francisco is about three weeks from gate release to on my lot.

So my dealer couldn't find any information when he was placing my order for including the slide out tailgate or the swing gate tray table. Would you have any information regarding those two items? Thanks for all your information.

There are no 2020 orders. Reservations started in mid-July 2020, but the order window only opened in 2021. The reservations that were converted to orders by the first order window deadline (3/19/21) were for 21MY and 22MY vehicles.

Late June 2021 or early July 2021 is the expected start of retail order delivery for 21MY vehicles.

Why do they call them mannequins when they are perfectly capable at running and driving? I would think a mannequin would be one that didn't have a drivetrain like some of the car show concepts. They should be called dealer display vehicles. :)

Anyway, that's about the same time I was thinking (June 21), so your more educated guess hopefully confirms no further delays than what was already announced. :)
