I am wanting to transition from the plastic bumper to the modular bumper. I do not have the auxiliary switches.

what are my options for fog lights that will use the existing fog light switch and only provide street legal fog lights? I don’t need extra lights to land a jet, just want it to be strictly street legal and use the existing fog light switch. Thanks in advance.

Well 1 pair of fogs will utilize the OEM fog switch if you get one of our kits and our pigtail. As for pairs 2/3, you'll operate those from a switch on your dash board.

Another option is install an 8 port switch panel kit up there. Our complete kit includes the sunglass replacement switch holder and the switch control system itself

Depending on which one of our fog kits you get, the pigtail harness will be different

If you plan to add on the switch panel kit, choose the UPFITTER harness at checkout. Do NOT check the Bronco Raptor harness as that only works on Raptors. Then the harness we provide will connect to the aftermarket switch panel.

Diode Dynamics Pigtail for OEM Fog Connection: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-...wires-w-backlight-tap-h11-h8-h9-880-881-pair/

And here is the switch panel kit: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/swarfw...-f-150-2023-ford-super-duty-2021-ford-bronco/

You'll want to add on an actual switch panel as well to make it a complete kit.

Yes if you opt for a single fog kit that we sell it'll work.

You can also built your own kit "ala carte" style and go with 1 pair of Diode Dynamics or Baja Designs lights.

This conversation is best to have with us direct so we can point you in the right direction as to all the parts you need depending on what style light you want.

I am wanting to transition
Best of luck!

As far as the rest of your message - the answer is yes. You can absolutely do it, and plenty of people have.

4x4TruckLEDs does sell a lot of good kits and can hook you up. In the interest of fairness, there are a lot of vendors that provide the same services - but 4x4TruckLEDs is pretty active here and you won't make a mistake if you go there, just mentioning it in fairness.

You can hook as many lights up to the factory fog lamp as you want. Although unless you want to use some relay magic, you are best off sticking to a single pod, as there is an amp limit to what the factory circuit can supply, and to go beyond that you'd need to use an isolation relay (I don't know what that limit is off the top of my head though).

There are a ~lot~ of options for lighting with the mod bumper. The fact that you don't have aux switches isn't a problem - there are a ~lot~ of options for that as well.

Most folks will recommend a 6 or 8-switch solution, which if you use a 3-pod pocket solution (very common on the mod bumper) - you've already used 2 switches: Fog lamps are run by the factory switch, Light A on a switch, and Light B on a second switch. Then once people start to mod, they tend to find other interesting projects that need switches too.... so the theory is it's better to have too many than not enough -- and honestly, the switch itself isn't expensive - the real investment there is the time it takes to install it and make it look good, so do it once the right way.

Would something like this work to avoid needing add switches on either the dash or panel?

Those are the fog lights I got, in amber. I bought them from 4x4truckleds, tho mine are the previous generation DD stage series lights. I installed them with their pigtails that connect directly to the existing OEM fog light harness so no added switches needed. I’m very happy with them.
