Ford Maintenance/Service Package - worth it?

The dealer I purchased at is offering a device/maintenance package for $4k. Covers required services, etc. Not an extended warranty.

Seems steep to me, I guess it matters if you are going to keep the Bronco Long term and How long does it cover? I think the service cycle may have 3 in 25K miles most are checks.

Is this the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan, or some dealership offered thing?

It would need to extend past 100K miles to justify that price unless it includes tires and brakes.

$4k is a ripoff. You can get it cheaper from Granger Ford or Flood Ford… or at least go look it up to price compare and get a better deal. I got mine 7 yr 125k for $2000. Maintenance costs will exceed that if you count brakes and even windshield wipers and air filters. And inflation.

One thing to consider is how soon and easy can you get an appointment for service. It's hit or miss in Columbus. Last oil change I didn't go to ford, couldn't get appt

My dealer wanted $4k for 10 yr/150K miles. Purchased from Granger for $2.9K. Definitely worth it if you get a long term high mileage package. Same goes for the extended service plan (ESP). Dealer matched Granger's price on the ESP, they would have for the maintenance plan also but I hadn't done my research at that point. $6k for 10yr/150K for ESP, includes key replacement.

I got 9 year 48K miles for a little over $1000 from Granger. I don't put many miles on as I'm retired, but I definitely want all of the electronics and LED headlights covered...

Ford offers an extended warranty and a premium maintenance plan. Two different products. Both are worth it, but only at the granger or flood ford prices
