Ford performance pro cal 2.7 -- *Calibration not found* message

Hey all, recently purchased the Ford Performance pro cal tune for the 2.7 and upon installation I get a message that reads *Calibration not found*

Anyone else experience this?

Did you setup an account at the Ford performance website and activate/download it already? There should be instructions with it and a 1-800 number for tech support.

I have. I made it all the way to the point where I back up my stock configuration and then it's supposed to download the calibration from what I've gathered but it gives an error code that says *Calibration not found*

So for some reason it isn't downloading the tune.

Yeah that's weird. I had good luck with the tech support guys. Maybe give them a call and see if they can help? Good luck!

This same issue is plaguing folks trying to do the Ford Performance Severe Duty Steering Rack upgrade with their ProCal. There are several threads about the rack upgrade discussing the same error. I think it is a larger issue with ProCal and Ford Performance has not quite solved it.

Had mine installed Wednesday, no problems. I did have the dealer install though.

Did the dealer ask for your Ford performance log in info? I've had some people tell me this may have to do with where I created a fresh account.

I set up the account prior to bringing it to the dealer but did not download anything. Gave them my account info and they did the rest.
