So I'm pondering a 2024 WT versus ordering a 2025 Heritage and adding the Fox 2.5 shocks to replace the Bilsteins to get a smoother ride. Anyone do this?

The 2.5s are definitely softer and ride quality is better, however the rear springs are too soft and you'll have a squat most likely, I had to max the preload on the rears and lower the fronts a little to get an even ride

Fox has ignored me and my attempts to get them to help us out, and they know it's wrong since they have stiffer springs listed on their site (not yet for sale)

You can see my post about them here https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/fox-2-5-dsc-heavy-spring-advice.99095/post-2349865

Good information, thanks. I guess this opens me up to suggestions to other setups.

I swapped in a set of the wildtrak fox shocks onto my bronco Everglades, No issues whatsoever direct bolt on swap.
You might look for the fox takeoffs to use on the Heritage, I got the set like new under $1000. Just another option.

The Stroppe Edition gets you the Heritage styling, plus the Fox suspension.

I'm wanting a 4 door, and visually struck by the Robin' s egg blue in the Heritage.

Thank you to those that replied. It seems I'm still learning to tweak the searches I do to get the information I'm looking for. This thread led to other threads which led to videos from Accutune and ShockSurplus. Those videos were very helpful.

Those 2.5 shocks, they're not cheap. But upgrading a Heritage with them still works out to less money spent in comparison to going with the WT. No insult to WT owners intended, I really like them, but I just want that color and throwback look.

Again thanks for helping out a newbie, I'm a total taker of information at this point. Hopefully to be a giver in the not too distant future.

I doubt the ride quality improvement, is worth the cost of a swap, unless you're getting a steal on a set of someone else's take-off. When my Bilstein fail, I'll certainly look at the Fox's take-offs as an option. I think Ford marketing does a fantastic job of dangling the next shiny object only available on the highest trim, whether being it Baja mode, disco, or the Fox shocks, this forum seems to have 1000's of posts saying, never settle for less, then paying thousands for a couple hundred dollars' worth of upgrades. I'd run the numbers on the swap (are you doing it yourself or paying a mechanic?), then ask yourself, do you really think the price is worth the improvement, or are you just chasing a shiny object?
