Curious on the GoRhino DSS, do they stick out past the farthest point on the doors, i.e. stop most door dings? I really wanted to stick with the factory sliders, but I am thinking we are going to need some sort of step and would like to protect the rockers from rock chips. The AR Billet steps look awesome, but pricey and don't help with rockchips/door dings much. I like the looks of these much better than the wider D6, just hoping they protect enough from dings and chips (will probably add mud flaps like yours as well) Bronco scheduled build date 2/1/22. Almost same as yours, just soft top and Oxford white.
They look like it. It'll be later tonight before I can get pics though.

I haven't had the DSS and flaps off-road yet (this weekend) but I haven't heard rocks from the road

They seem to stick out further than the door

Also those and the mud flaps seem to stop a lot of rocks

Mounted the DSS sliders and cut the front mud flaps (added an edge guard to cover the cuts)

The side steps and mud flaps look great.

I have a Base Sasquatch being built next week, and am worried about the wife and kids being able to get in as well. Do you know how high it is from the ground to the top of your step? Or is it something you could measure if you get the chance. This would give me a good idea if these steps would work, or if I’d have to look at a drop step.

These look good, I'm looking to replace the factory rock rails on my BD as well......which model DSS slider-step is this?

Curious, did you sell your rock rails?

Did you have to cut the mud flap bc your BD is Sasquatch?

Build Journal: After numerous delays I finally have my Bronco. I kinda have a K.I.S.S. mentality in terms of mods. Feel free to AMA or make suggestions!

Modifications:
  • Ford Molle tailgate panel part # VM2DZ-54407B00-A
  • Redline hood struts from Panda Motorworks (link: CLICK HERE)
  • Stickerfab automatic shifter inlay Blue (link: CLICK HERE)
  • Stickerfab BRONCO lettering on the dash Blue(link: CLICK HERE)
  • Door Sill protectors Clear (link: CLICK HERE) [I haven't installed yet, thinking about some skate board tape]
  • Ford Mudflaps part # M2DZ-16A550-AA (front); part # M2DZ-16A550-BB (rear)
  • Gear America Recovery Kit (link: CLICK HERE)
  • 35,000# soft shackles (link: CLICK HERE)
  • McGard locking lugnuts (link: CLICK HERE)
  • Craven Speed Stubby Antenna (link: CLICK HERE)
  • Ceramic tint from the dealer
  • 3d print BYOD rail
  • Go Rhino DSS4129T steps / sliders (link: CLICK HERE)
I don't plan to do too much to the motor / tranny nor much on FORSCAN

Mods for the future:
  • 8" Screen Protector
  • Body Color the Ford Badge on the tailgate
  • Plastidip the bronco on the tailgate
  • air compressor (not sure on the brand)((IDK if I want the ARB one))
  • ...(any other ideas?)

DSS4129T

yes I sold my rock rails. They sold surprisingly fast.

Yes, I had to cut the flaps to accommodate the SAS flares, but no more. (Fronts only)
