Been searching on here and either don't see it or missed. What's the word on the dash gadget bar they show to mount a go-pro or gps etc.

It’s the width for Picatinny but it looks like the center cut outs are M-lok compatible. It doesnt have the divider ridges like pic rails. Heck, lets just call it the Dash Accessory Rail

I know the name lol but I have not seen what model it was standard on or the option to add it.
Because it doesn't exist except as vaporware. Like the tailgate slider.

As I said in one of the other 8 million threads on this, I personally think the lawyers made Ford nix it for "safety" reasons.

And if that's the case I certainly don't blame them. The average person is a shitty enough driver as it is. Probably don't need to encourage them to stick a bunch of distractions up there. Plus whatever hazard they may or may not turn into in the event of a wreck.

I’ve seen it referred to as the BYOD or “Bring your own device” rail.

I agree with the comments above, could be a liability thing. Like a fart in the wind

Good idea but needs more than just the center mounting point IMPO. Minimum of three would be ideal.

Then again what do I know? I’ve never seen a Bronco in the flesh! It’s all an illusion.

In recent pics it looks like there is simply a single, centered, threaded hole. Nothing like a rail. I suppose you could add one somehow, but it would be attached center only.

Here is a picture, though there is some of the dash up there out of sight.

They've made both Picatinny and M-LOK versions.

Yes, that's where it mounts

All the pictures of the BYOD rail only connect in the center. A solid threaded mounting point, with arms that brace against the dash on each side, will be plenty strong.

As people said, if Ford doesn't come out with it there will be aftermarket. You should also be able to screw in a camera mount or any 1/4-20 threaded mount as well. I only guess that thread size because it's what gopros and other cameras use.

I think the rails may come with Lux package only. I may be wrong though.

For sure the dash USB ports come with Lux only.
