Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT - load range of "C"?

Why would Ford put Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires on the Sasquatch if they only have a Load Range of "C"? Wouldn't an "E" Load Range tire be better for offroad?

I filtered for LT315/70R17 and checked the box for Off-Road Maximum Traction. There are six results and I notice that they all have a Load Range of "E" , except for the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT, which I notice have 0 ratings on Tire Rack. 🤔

I wish I could delete this thread because after I posted it I found a ton of information that answered my question in the "similar threads" section below hah. Oh well..

No OEM will ever equip their vehicle with an E load range as it will provide a very rough ride. Even the F150 raptor comes with a C load range tire. Also E load range tires are heavy as hell … like 10+ pounds per corner heavy when compared to a C load range tire

Seems like you found your answer, but for the weight of the Bronco, a C-load tire is plenty until you really start abusing it offroad.

Those seeking E-load rubber want it for its added resilience (especially in the sidewalls) and will happily do so at the expense of ride quality. Well, either that or they want to share tires with their F-350.

Except for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks (F250, 350) that come from the OEM with E range tires.
And yes they are rough, stiff because they are vehicles that are meant to carry and tow a lot of weight.

The first Jeep Rubicons, 2004, came with E rated tires for "better" off-road survivability.
