Here’s my impression of every M/T tire review I’ve ever read:

“Good handling on dry roads with excellent traction off. Noisy on the highway, but around town I can’t even hear them over my diesel with a tune. Got a little squirrelly under a downpour and once the temp dropped below 60* they became hard as a rock. Haven’t driven them in snow since we don’t get any down here, but I’m sure they’d be fine. Most importantly they’re super aggressive looking so I’d recommend them to anyone who wants a great all-around tire.”

It is strange that he lives outside of LA and reviews rain and ice performance....neither of which he gets any of....maybe a tiny bit of rain on occasion.
Rain is an issue for any tire in LA. It rains so little that there's a ton of oil/gas/whatever buildup on the freeways so when it rains even a bit it gets slick as hell. So I wouldn't be to concerned about a review from LA saying a tire has bad wet performance. They all do there.

That only happens on the first rains of the season. We are way past that and we had a dry season. He is clearly talking/reviewing out of his ass. It was a generic and useless review.

Is it? Seemed like every time to me, but I haven't lived there in a few years.

He may not just drive west on the 10. He may drive the 38/18. He lives 30 miles from Arrowhead/Big Bear, or maybe Mt Baldy. He may have had them in the rain and snow since he lives at the bottom of a mountain and almost surrounded by national forests.

Here are some pics I took of the GY Territory tires at the OffRoadeo.... not sure if this is bad or good. I worked at Discount Tire in Phoenix for a year and I never saw wear like this. Maybe designed into the compound for better grip (being optimistic)? Many tires had tread blocks broken off as well. That being said.... they got us through the course with little drama. Pretty sure I will have a second set of "purpose built" tires/wheels for real off roading trips.

Sounds like they do what they are intended for with the Bronco

Tire performance in icy conditions is pretty subjective, and I don't really want to hear a reviewer from CA complain about icy roads anyway ;)
Icy roads in Canada is typical... You guys get a cm of snow and it's pile-up city! 😉

The Goodyear Territory for the Bronco is vehicle specific in construction. How did this guy test them on snow and icy roads? Arctic expedition in a Wild Track?

Woooow and those vehicles have just a few hundred miles! Wtf is this!
Somebody stating that they're preproduction units in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Seriously, If that's the wear I should expect I'll have a set of tires delivered to the dealer for them to put on. That is utter trash.

Tires driven on rocks for 100s of miles look like that. I live on a 2200 ft gravel driveway, the rocks chew on rubber. Every set of Goodyear’s I’ve owned are loud after 10-15k miles regardless of how much they are rotated.

This is simply untrue. I've replaced tires at 35,000 miles, with 10-15k of those being off pavement all over Colorado and Utah, that have looked better than those.

I will probably get some real tires within the first few weeks of ownership and sell these turds to someone else. I got 70k miles on a set of K02's on my Tacoma with maybe 20k of it being offroad/dirt/gravel.
I even have KO2's on my Subaru.
They kinda suck on the Subaru by nature of being heavy and stiff, but they mostly work well and I anticipate good mileage. The lifted Subaru is quite capable with the 29" KO2's in comparison to the road tires it has always had before.

Dang, I realize that almost all of those miles are offroad but even so, that seems to be a lot more wear than there should be with limited miles.

You didn't happen to see how the 33" BFG KO2s were holding up, did you?
