Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

Model Trim Emblem on or off?

  • Keep it on!

  • Get rid of it!

They are cheap looking for one. And having the Bronco script improves the look drastically.

Oh, plus I think I picked up a few ponies too! LOL

wanted to ask one more thing.
What percent tint is that?
Thanks

I removed the badges for my PPF application, then added Bronco scripts in their place (the good ones Ford demanded a certain retailer stop selling) and love them. However, I kept the badges and a few weeks later relocated them below the scripts. Looks great!

Crap, after reading through this thread, I thought I was on Facebook or something.

I like them

with original badges
without badges
with the cool custom badges

I think it’s great we all don’t have to do the same thing.

The new badges by bronco nation bring a modern script to the mix. These can be obtained with your trim type also.

Wow, I really like that these have specific port/starboard pieces.

I find it humorous some of the purists among us insist on an original looking Bronco script on the fender....of a moar door.

:sneaky:

Looks like a refrigerator magnet - cheap compared to all the other badging on the vehicle.

Its more like trying to win an argument with the wife. After 28yrs of marriage I think my record is 3-1,000,000. LOL!
Those are Hall of Fame numbers! And I like my Big Bend badge too!

I am working with Devine Designs (see them on Facebook) for my Badlands badge replacement. Here are a couple of the first prototypes. Let me know what you think.

Changing badges to make a trim appear to be more special is nothing new, and the Base has no badge. Removing the badge is similar to putting a Demon badge on a Challenger with the 3.6L V6.
No. I don't think putting a "Bronco" script in place of the sticker badge makes any suggestion or false impression that it's anything other than a Bronco.

Oh come on - 3 is an unrealistically high number, and I'm in year 31 !

Feels a bit like a Cadillac logo (probably because of the locations of the a, d, and l). Looks well-made though. (y)

Just want to say, that Hot Pepper Red color is growing on me, looks nice in your photos. And I vote for the old school "Bronco" script badge. Because I'm buying the Bronco as kind of an old school throwback vehicle.

Although honestly, I'm getting a Bronco because it's basically what a modern version of my old 1972 Land Rover should be. So maybe I should put an LR Series badge on the Bronco instead. :)

Every time I look at my Eruption Green BL I think of the old school Land Rover. It is why I love the green color so much.

Wow, I’m glad I read this thread. I’m definitely keeping my sticker on, at least until I find a graphic designer who can make me a new sticker for my OJ Edition
