Has anyone Installed a Half Roof Rack?

I am planning to get a half roof rack for my 2Dr any suggestions, anybody has installed one please share some pics!

I installed the TrailRax 1/2 rack on my 2DR. Solid construction, easy install, and doesn’t add more wind noise at speed (I’ve got enough already). The only photo I happen to have.

Stay away from the Hooke Road half rack. The price is right, It looks decent and fairly well built but the wind noise was just stupid...the front valance vibrated like an out of tune guitar string at all speeds and reverberated throughout the cabin. The only way I was able to stop the noise was to remove the front valance.

I was trying to find one that could support my 56" x 48" rooftop tent - with 325 static pounds while I'm sleeping - but haven't had any luck yet. I really don't want to give up my ability to go topless due to a full rack. I'd love the ability to use a hoist and store the entire rear shell + tent assembly.

Just tapping in here! We do not recommend mounting a roof top tent to a half rack. That being said, can still remove the 2 front panels with our full rack. You would not be be able to take the rear portion off, but the option of taking the 2 front panels off may be the best of both worlds. Yeah, that does seem like my only option, and the Trailrax is near the top of my list. I'm in the military, as well as a Bronco Nation member, though, so the 10% sales are just the standard price for me.

A 15-20% combined discount would tempt me today, though... just sayin'

I really wanted the TrailRax 2-door half-rack, but it doesn't play nicely with the Sunrider, so I went with Badass Tents which is a bit shorter and allows the Sunrider to fold back properly.

I’m considering buying the 4 door version, but waiting on my hard top from them first before I make that decision.

I’ve had the TrailRax half rack for a few months now for 4Dr. No problem with it and haven’t really noticed increased noise.
