Diode all the way. Quality, optical control, output, bang for your buck.

SS3 Max Fogs, and whatever pair of SSC2’s your heart desires.

I went with Diode because of the options. SS3 spot, SSC2 SAE white fog, SSC2 SAE yellow fog, all sport version. Amber backlight.

Rough Country Osram wide angle floods on the A-pillar and bumper corners.

Hitting a deer pretty much prompted me to move lights to the top of my accessories list.

The backlight feature is just an accent/ambient light for extra styling.

When the main beam is on the backlight is designed to shut off and re-illuminate after the main beam is turned back off.

If you're wanting the highest intensity and output, the SS3 Max is the brightest option.

Additionally, the SSC2's highest power level is the SSC2 Pro.

Interesting setup, why the bumper corner lights? Do those serve a different purpose from the ditch lights on the A-pillar?

The A-pillar lights are angled more outward into the ditch and beyond. The top of the bumper lights are more forward towards the edge of the road to the ditch.

The inner 3" spots in the pockets are pointed towards the edge of the road but reach further down the road.

All those lights are not SAE so I need to turn them off when I meet cars.

The middle pocket lights are SAE white fogs that help light up the road for when I turn off the other lights.

The outer pocket lights are SAE yellow fogs for snow rain fog.

I'm contemplating a couple more spots for the top middle of the bumper to reach straight down the road.

Might be overkill but after whacking a deer I want to see a little further. I drive on country roads quite a bit.

I'm also looking to get a bumper with full bull bar like the ARB Summit.

I installed Rigid Radiance pods on mine. Scene lights on the outside and the standard pod in the middle. Scenes wired to one aux switch, pods wired to another aux switch, and the amber backlight is wired in to my parking/running lights. Looks awesome. Even though I love these, I’m still torn between them and Diode Dynamics.
