Watching this video has gotten me concerned about the quality and effectiveness of the headliner. It's flaking and peeling off in the video.
Also, I dont know what's underneath the felt, but felt typically only reduces some high frequencies.
Maybe when Ford is addressing the roof issue, they could address this too.

It's definitely a cheapo part. Ford hasn't admitted to any quality issue with them, so I'm not expecting improvements. Hope springs eternal, though.

I’ve sat in two separate Broncos with the headliner and they were shedding like all hell.

Even in the marketing pics of it, it looks like cheap auto carpet. I wouldn't expect Ford to change it.

Many of us intentionally left the free headliner off our orders - and now you see why.

Wait for a good aftermarket option. HotHead claimed to be planning on headliner options.

I'll be getting an mgv model and since my order is now being pushed to 2022 I'm going to make sure it's not added. If I find it needs one I'll go aftermarket.

Sean, Mark is having the same problem as we have. He can't get his Bronco delivered either. I'm sure when he gets it in his shop he'll start on his design. I figure I'll just get the Ford headliner, and when Mark gets his to market, I'll rip that thin POS out, and get one from HotHead. I have a HotHead in my Wrangler, and it is well made, thicker, and Mark sells sound deafening strips that really do the job. And all that at a better price point.

Ssshh… please keep it quiet. Let’s get our Broncos first, before Ford finds out and there are more delays.

Yes this was brought up last week by multiple people. Some fanboiz on here dismissed it as a dust. 🤫🤥
Ford could burn down the houses of some of the fanbois around here and they would find a way to apologize for Ford.

John, I pretty sure you're hosed since you have a VIN. However, with a little heat to get the sticky backing soft it should be fairly easy to remove.

By the looks of that video, some of it already comes detached so it wouldn't be that hard to remove

Did you see all the dust/material particles falling from the headliner? I’ve seen several reports on that. I’m not sure our sinus and lungs are meant to breathe that.
