My 250 Mile review of the 2 door Bronco Heritage 2.3 Manual is as follows.

Yes just yes, absolutely a joy to be around and in. The truck gets complements constantly and general public walking up to talk and or extra head turns and waves EVERYWHERE you go.

A few mods done so far.

The lighting in the pics makes the seats look less of a match than they are. IRL everyone that has looked at or rode in the truck thinks they are factory which is what I was going for.

Also does anyone know of a place to get this plug? I would like a matching one for the extra rear tow hook I installed.

We are glad you are enjoying your Bronco so far, Neal! It's definitely a head turner. Thanks for sharing your experience with the forum!

While you are doing modifications, rotate your spare so the slots are centered. It’s bothering my ocd! 😎
Now that you have pointed it out to me it is annoying me now too!

Where are the covers from? Love them!
PRP seat covers. They let you custom pick a bunch of colors and thread. carbon white is almost perfect with the white dash. I was going for a tribute to my 76 and I like how it turned out. Also helps to brighten up the inside.

New factory height knob arrived today, easy install as reported. The new adapter actually places the threads of the adapter as a sleeve over and at the same height as the unthreaded oem shifter post, held down by the oem hex screw with a supplied washer.

So the new knob screws down over the top the oem shifter post. Clever.

The inner threads of the new v2.2 ball are likely a larger diameter than the original design, so the old ball is not compatible with the new adapter.

I like the ball, but I wish it was a bit larger diameter for my big right paw.

The knob I have in my Focus RS is 3/16 larger which seems perfect for my hand.

I am sure it’s been brought up before but those seats 💺 look amazing. What was the cost and supplier?
I find the cloth kinda unsupportive and the leather not only looks better but maybe more supportive. I find my left lower back kinda sore after lots of shifting with drives with heavy clutch use and feel I am sinking a bit on left side of seat.
Did you do the back seats too?

And bigger question for the group did anyone get new front seats to recover and keep the OEM ones removed and put in storage for resale or is that silly?

Thanks, they're Katzkins. I think the diamond stitching makes them more comfortable that the cloth seats were. The upholsterer was able to remove the cloth without damaging it. It's currently sitting in a box in my garage. I'm debating holding onto it or putting it up for sale.
Got my leather seats installed today. I think they turned out really nice.
I was originally going to go with something like the nintendo concept seats, but since we have so much blue in our interior, I decided to go with blue accents instead of a darker gray.

They were $2,395+tax installed. Katzkin didn't have the HE as a model option, so I used OB since that has the Navy Pier in the interior as well. I wanted a lighter color in the middle since it gets pretty hot where I live in the summers, so that's why I went with the Lunar Grey. It's actually pretty close to the steel grey leather that I had in my 2014 F-150.
I thought about adding the cooling, but you have to add both heating and cooling with the new switches to control those. I didn't think the added cost was worth it since we already have the heated seats and then the buttons on the dash wouldn't work.

If you decide to buy them, mention my name and vehicle details (Ford Bronco) at the time of purchase and you can get $50 off. Just PM me and I'll reply with my name.

It seems the drivers head rest is able to actually move back and is adjusting now?!?! As I understand it our Heritages have head rests that can’t adjust forward and back just up and down? Or I am a complete moron? That alone would be an awesome upgrade!

They don't move forward and back, but a number of us have replaced them with the adjustable ones that come with the leather seats.

You happen to have a part number? Remove and replace? That’s totally awesome news thanks!

Heritage Fam! Just picked up a 2024 2 door Heritage and am enjoying. Originally was searching for a Big Bend with mid package and Sasquatch. A customer, who special ordered this Heritage, decided not to purchase so it opened up. Instead of waiting for a Big Bend, I went ahead and picked up this one. While I love old Broncos, I’ve had to warm up to the white accents on this modern vehicle. Wishing Ford had added the body color strip to the grille surround, like some of you have had painted. That is a great mod!

Anyway, did I do the right thing going with the Heritage? I’m thinking so but curious to hear other owners thoughts about their experiences related to this trim. Old school is cool, classic, and maybe a little sophisticated? It’s certainly unique and that’s a good thing. Have owned three Wranglers and can easily tell the Bronco is a better vehicle.

Oh and actually purchased an extended warranty for the first time in a long time. Probably too expensive but thoughts on those too?

Cheers yall!

@mdavismac Congratulations, without a doubt you did the right thing!!! First off, the Heritage Edition is cheaper than optioning a Big Bend to similar spec. The majority of us here ordered our Heritage because we had to have one, many with reservations switching from original model orders, a few ordered 2 Heritage from different dealers to increase the odds of being built. Others wanted the Heritage look so modded the model they preferred or settled for. For me it was the complete package to have 4dr SAS w/Manual, Hardtop, Cloth, which you could not do with Base, and then the factory squared fenders sealed the deal!!! The White bits and painted Modular Top were icing on the cake… 😏

Glad you posted up in the Heritage thread but you're going to get a resounding yes from all of us on the HE's appeal. @JawnyBronco covered it all, read over the nearly 700 pages for most of our personal stories and what we went thru to get ours and while most of us hated the wait we love our HEs!

As for warranty, you should have checked here first, Granger offers $50 or so over invoice on the extended warranty. You might be able to cancel the one you have now if you're looking to save some money.

Outside of that welcome aboard!
