I chose the High Pkg for the exact reasons you mentioned! I elected to spend any extra money on after-market audio system, Course Magna charger phone mount, Katzkin leather seats, Trail armor, new bumpers, aluminum skids and of course lots of offroad lights everywhere!
I don’t miss a single feature that the Lux package offers over the High package and would make that same choice a dozen times over!

Next year a Lift + new Wheels & Tires will find their way into the mix…

My steering wheel is already hot as hell without the heated option in the summertime. Wish they'd make cooling seats and steering wheel option with the heated. I like to mix it up.
I never understood why some Fords dont have the cooling seats and steering wheel option when most other cars have both.

A handful of users here said it was because it's an off-road vehicle, and there's concern over dirt/dust/water getting into the fans/ventilation system for the seats. I figure if the engineers really wanted the cooled seats though, they'd have a method in place to blow out the fans or the ventilation system somehow. Obviously the vinyl wouldn't be able to have the vented seats, but leather sure as heck should have.
I'm in Utah, and will say that I love the heated steering wheel, especially when the Bronco has been sitting in my work parking lot getting snowed on all day, and it's freezing inside. Remote start it about 5 minutes before walking out, and everything is nice and toasty

This was exactly what I was looking for! What did you end up spending on aftermarket stereo?

Remember that heated/cooled seats can be added relatively easily aftermarket (cooling is much more expensive, though). Same with a stereo system.

Heated wheel, however, isn't so easy.

I live in CO and I ski a lot, so having a heated wheel is definitely a must-have for me.

I think if I could wave a magic wand, I would have gone with the high package and then added the heated wheel separately, then added heated/cooled seats and a stereo for a few thousand bucks aftermarket.

My Dad has the adaptive cruise in his new Explorer and absolutely hates it.

Also in AZ. I didn't know heated steering wheels even existed until folks here seemed to think they needed them.
ACC is the work of the devil.

Watching rolling road blocks of disengaged drivers stuck in a train of "adaptive cruise control hell" where they have all failed to notice their reduced velocity or violation of "keep right" laws, brake lights tap-tap-tapping away for no reason, everyone tailing an '86 Ford Escort at 62 mph is enough to cause everyone to be discouraged from having or using technologies designed to disengage you from the task at hand, keeping you, your family and others safe while whisking down the interstate.

You can source a decent setup that sounds much better than the “Premium” B&O system for $500 -$1000 (depending on your speaker choice)!
I would suggest that you start with an amp with built in DSP such as the very popular Kicker Key 47Key200.4 as there are many posts dedicated to that amp within this forum and the specs are decent for a $250 amp.
My gear was a little more expensive and honestly probably overkill for my needs!

Yeah my last 3 cars-- BMW, Porsche and now Bronco all had heated seats but not cooling seats despite other models in their respective lineups having a cooling seat option

I didn't have any choice in options since I got the FE, but I'm more than satisfied with the B&O. I don't need to share my music with everyone on the road, so it is plenty loud enough for me, and is more than ample with the top and doors off.
The evasive steering has saved me twice now, and I now use the ACC almost every time I am on the highway.
As for the heated seats/steering, I don't use them so that's a personal choice.
The USB slots on the dash are very helpful, since my phone and GoPro are on the dash, and keep wire clutter very minimal, but the wireless charging pad is too weak for a modern cell phone, but I do use it to charge my ear pods.
But the best thing I would say is to stick within your means. If you can get it, just get it, because adding anything later will cost you more, and life is way too short to have regrets.

Have lux - sound is pretty good, especially compared to stock, could it be better? sure.. but whatever. Adaptive cruise control for me is just the best, I use it ALL the time on longer drives. My wireless charger wasn't working well till last update (at least that is all I know that changed) and now will actually charge it decently well.

This one hit too close to home. We have ACC on our Expedition and I really only use it on long drives. I do like using it for that purposed. Yet, I totally understand what you are saying. I have found myself behind a car doing about 5 MPH's below the speed limit and wondering how long I've been sitting there behind this car. I think you have pretty much nailed that one on the head.

B&O is garbage. Wireless charging pad is a useless joke. But I would still get the LUX for the heat and cruise. That’s what you need to decide on.

Having compared both sound systems side by side (my wife has a BB and mine is a Lux), it’s been an interesting experience. At first I could tell a huge difference. Over time though, that faded and I do not notice the difference as much when going from hers to mine and vice versa. That leads me to this conclusion. There is a difference and the B&O is a better system, but to me it’s about 50% better. Not 100, 50. It sounds great to me and I will probably never upgrade (meaning I like it), but I do feel like if my wife were to get the new sub and some better speakers she could either sound as good if not better. For me (and keep in mind I am not a big off-roader) the best features are the 12 inch screen and cameras, which are both in the High Package. I also wanted a winch and that is out for me. So if you plan to mod and off-road, high pkg might be a good choice. If it’s your daily and you want to rock out like me, wait for what you really wanted and go Lux. Hope that helps in some way. 😀

I did not want the ACC and redid my stereo. High was perfect for me.
