How bad is the back seat in a 2dr bronco? Is legroom horrible? My kids are 4&5 but will they still comfortable fit back there as teenagers. How is the legroom compared to a 4dr

Legroom is decent. My wife survived a couple 3-hour drives back there with good room. However the comfort isn't great. She said after 3 hours, it was painful. They are really only for occasional use, nothing more. I actually have the driver's side seat removed and will likely remove the passenger side too.

A child will be fine. The legroom isn't going to be greater on the 4-dr. It just positions the seats in front of the rear wheel-well and provides easier ingress/egress. By positioning the seats in front of the wheel-well, the 4-dr gains an "extra" seat, but in reality it is just an arm rest.

If your kids can't fit in the 2-dr a decade later, then you'll be looking to buy an new vehicle anyway.

Idk, but I’ve had two full grown adults ride in mine for several hours with no complaints.

I have only had 1 adult and 1 dog in the back seat of mine...no complaints other than getting in and out (more complaints from the dog than the person!). 2 kids should be fine. My gal has a little bit of a bad knee, so back seat is a no go for her. I can get in and out no problem, but anybody w/any kind of mobility issues is gonna struggle

In and out is a bit hard. Honestly worse than my old Mustang (but the drop top on that made that pretty easy). Once back there it's fine. My wife is 5'10", my 17 year old son is almost 6' and both were surprised at how roomy it is back there.

Much more room than most 4-door sedans.

back seat is great. I am 6 feet and have plenty of room. Getting in and out is the real problem, not room.

The spec sheet says the 4dr had 0.6" more legroom, in the real word I don't see that being a noticeable difference. Width, the 2dr has significantly more inches per passenger than a 4dr.

The big issue is getting in and out. The pathway is not actually that bad but the high step-in height complicates things, especially for people with creaky bones.

Not just creaky bones, even my kid struggled until I added the steps and grab handle. I think both are requirements if you plan to use the back seat with any frequency.
