How Is Soft Top Delivered?

I got dual tops on my ‘24 Bronco. Comes strapped on a hard foam pallet in the back of the Bronco.

its not horribly heavy, just awkward. I easily slid it out of the bronco onto a workbench. It comes with the mounting bolts and rear pillar side covers in pockets under the big box that contain the side and rear windows.

one thing to look for is the interior side trim panels that cover the mounting bolts. They seem to be a common item to be missing and you have to get the dealer to order up a pair…which should be free. Mine were not included so I need to visit my dealer this week.

the pallet is nice and could easily be used to store the top in the winter rigging up some kind of hoist.

anybody have a part number for the pillar side covers? Didn’t come with my ‘23 softop/dualtop kit..

Looks like the pic @SkiSquatch has above shows the trim panels laying in the plastic bags. I definitely did not get those.

In those plastic bags are the door and roof bags. The trim panels are in the box above the six screws in @Glade Runner’s second and third pic.

For my top, the box above the 6 screws in the pic contained the exterior side pillar covers on me top the interior trim pieces are nowhere to be found.

If you ordered the dual top option the soft too comes on “foam pallet” which is shipped in the rear of the four door Bronco with the seats folded down.

It will take two people to remove it.

My delivery looked like SkiSquatch. Stuff in the back. After a few months when I took off the hard top, I brought the soft top back to the stealership. Told them it was a DIO. They kicked and screamed like a toddler, and I had to get FORD involved to get them to put it on. Bottom line - they installed it. No charge.

Hi all. I ordered dual tops for my Wildtrak which is not in production yet. Question. Can someone tell me how the soft top is delivered to the dealership? Better yet, does anyone have any pictures? I am starting to put a storage plan together and wanted to see what it is delivered on and if it could possibly be used for Winter storage when the hard top is on. Thanks.

In the back of the bronco with seats folded down. They use the tow hooks to hold it in place.

so there is just one set of trim pieces for both tops? That’s good to know. I had popped mine off to install a slipstream security cover and didn’t look at the trim piece that close.

So when winter came you made them swap it back as well ?

So when winter came, I took the soft top off. Took me 4 hours. And I put the hard top back on. So right now, the hard top is still on. And I’ll be taking it off soon and putting the soft top on. Not looking forward to that I must say. And the stealership made it clear they were only going to install that soft top once! I also ordered the DIO tube doors. (I ran out of days last summer to put those on myself.) I’m tempted to call and have the stealership install the tube doors this year. I wonder how long I have to get them to install the DIO stuff? Is there a time limit?
