Any thought on making this an inch or so lower so it's easier to get out of the MIC top?
I find it easy to get the boards out with the MIC top on. Lowering it risks the boards hitting the speaker.

Got it. Can you give the min and max hole distances (X & Y) for mounting the boards? I have off-brand boards and don't know if the corner holes of the boards will line up with the mounting slots in your braces.

The bracket supports board hole widths at either 4.2" or 10.63" and board hole lengths between 34" and 41"

Would 4 (2 sets) stacked MaxTrax MKII boards fit? Or would only two fit? (Do you know the clearance between the top of the mount and the roof)

I have a high and a low mounting point for the bracket however I honestly neglected to measure the lower setting. I’ll measure it and post here tonight.

Yeah, I did a "poor man's patent" on it, however, I don't think any patent can stand up against a foreign knock-off. At least I know mine is high quality and made in the USA.
Damn straight!

They do fit very well (the soft top is taller than the MIC top as well), however, the top, horizontal platform on the bracket comes within about a half inch of the rear of the soft top. My concern is that the flexibility of the soft top might cause it flap in the wind, and rub on the bracket, causing damage over time. I'm going to look to increase that gap in a future revision of the bracket.
Great use of space! I have a few questions.
Regarding the soft top: Is the 1/2 inch of space with on horizontal rack with the recovery boards mounted or unmounted(rack only)?

Also, I have the Borne recovery boards and they don't have any tech specs and wonder if they would work on your rack?

I would love to pull the trigger on these, but I want to make sure they won't cause my soft top any damage, etc... 😎

Picked some up yesterday. Great quality product and excellent use of normally dead space. Thanks. @UtahBrandon
