Maybe..... someday there will be a longer wheelbase 2 door model. Would be nice to have the extra cargo space.

yea I dont think this can fit my kong cooler so its essentially useless to me.

shame i love how badass the 2 door is but other than being a beach taxi for frunk college skanks it will be useless for anything else including groceries
Have you ever owned a coup? And way to be derogatory.

How many groceries do you need? My wife and I had nothing but a mazda 2 hatch for many years and never had issues buying groceries or any errands for that matter. Hell my wife bought me a full sized weber grill for our aniversary one year and I threw it in the back of that thing and the hatch still closed!

Anyway all of that was to say the 2 door has far more space than a tiny mazda hatchback and it's all about what you make of it.

From the looks of it, seems like the doors will fit after all. Just ? ballin' it tho! or is it wishful thinking!

It's interesting how little space appears to be available in the 2-Door compared to my XJ Cherokee. Honestly that will suck a little but that's the price of progress I guess. How did 1980s Jeep get so much usable space when it seems 2020s Ford can't? lol where did it all go?

I dont think so. Unless ford comes out and says they have a tray like the 4 door that evens it out , not even a dog would be too happy back there. I know mine wouldnt like it
Yeahhhh...I think to make my dog happy, one or both rear seats are going to have to come out...

My comment.
You didn't say anything about swinging out though which would be even more important. My intent was to point out it's a gas strut more than anything.

I measured them and my best estimates from outside the bronco are here.
If you want a measurement that isn’t in this link, just ask, I might have it. The 2-door has a lot more room than a 2-door wrangler. If you need more space, get the 4-door. I doubt Ford will ever make a longer 2-door. There isn’t a market for that.
Sheesh....It cannot be smaller than the Bronco II, which I had an '88 for 12 years -- When the seats were upright - yeah, not great space behind but certainly usable. But tumble the seats & the area WAS flat -- & you COULD put a shit load of stuff piled in there....I kept it that way most the time, was really a lot of space that way. And yes some brutal camping, all the big old style super heavy monster Coleman tents, giant coolers -- it all fit.

ok, here is a very important question. Maybe I've missed it, but I've read every post. Width of that area, iow will a set of golf clubs fit?

Bronco II wheelbase: 94 in Length: 12.75 ft width: 68 in
2021 2D wheelbase: 100 in Length: 14.4 ft Width: 76 in

So new Bronc slightly larger, unless the roll cage interferes some how, the space with seats down (or removed) should be plenty.
Unless you're going to the home center for plywood etc...wrong truck for the job.
