Slow learner? As if my username wouldn't give it away. I certainly won't be buying another. So sick if the solid front axle! Hops and goes sideways over little bumps.....opposing track bars, death wobble, wrong side of the road... alot!
Dealers are going to refund the reservation fee personally and have you submit a build so they can have the inventory to mark up.Nice truck, Ford is really losing the focus of it's intended buyers. I am truly starting to believe they will lose half of those 190k reservations
Not necessarily. I think they’re going to lose a lot more people than they think whose current vehicle just won’t last until delivery of the bronco.I don't know that they are losing focus of real buyers...not many people buying a full size pick-up or Camaro, or whatever completely different class of vehicle were never really going to buy a Bronco...they were just romanticizing about it for a while.
Can I fit 35's on this without a torch, welder, or hammer? I think so. Talk about a Moab-slayer! Whoo!Being 1st and knowing and hoping that there will be improvements down the line with new options and discounts. BUT, until I actually have it all we have are words to share. I am glad that I am in line and not trying to find the end of the line! We are all lucky we have the option to buy. Buy what we want, if available. Not be forced tobuy this...
Yup been waiting a long time for the bronco but the gladiator is looking better and better every day or at least with every new ford announcement. If jeep still had the punk'n color available I would have already jumped ship.I am romanticizing for sure. I want this thing really bad but the passion is starting to fade now as it appears some of the features and options which Ford sold me on as part of the Bronco are not even available now or not until a year or two down the road. While I wait in line for my Bronco I am starting to think if its worth it now out of the gate as I will just want some of those options. Then I look at the Gladiator and she is starting to become a little more attractive. I will still keep my reservation for now but I feel Ford has really done a terrible job on the information roll-out so far (BP, Availability, Reservations..... the list goes on). They have put a lot of lipstick on in the way of their marketing but reality is starting to bite. Still..... I am anxious to drive this thing!!
I don't think I could fit in a gladiator. I'm 6'6 250ish. I wanted to look at one just to least for 2 years until I could snag a broncoYup been waiting a long time for the bronco but the gladiator is looking better and better every day or at least with every new ford announcement. I'm not harping on your for buying something else, but your argument makes his point. You said you were never planning on spending $50K on a vehicle you couldn't drive first, so you could never be "in" on the Bronco in a reservation situation like this. And that's a totally legitimate reason. It's also perfectly sensible to buy a 2- or 3-year old used vehicle and save on depreciation. But that is not a new vehicle buyer and certainly not a sight-unseen reservation-holder buyer. That's absurd. I had a day 2 reservation that I switched to Grainger after seeing the photo of the 6'7 dude sitting in it (jeep headroom is what pushed me away from a jeep a long time ago being 6'6). Like I said, I'll circle back in 3 years when I'm not spending 50k on a unseen vehicle. Not in a position to throw 50k on something I can't drive first.
I didn't expect to pay 50k thus, I didn't want to pay that. We didn't get provided with much information at release. Let alone the ever changing price point and shifting of the B&P. I must have missed during the year lead up & release event they said a 4dr black diamond was 50k spec'd out the way I'd like.I'm not harping on your for buying something else, but your argument makes his point. I'm guessing because he made a point of telling everyone. ? I can't think of a single time when I went to a Chevy forum and told everyone why I bought an F-150. ? Yes, I get that he was considering a Bronco, but what exactly does the OP add to the conversation?Good for you for getting what you want. Not sure what so many people want to give their thoughts about why or why you didn’t get a bronco.
Like I said, there's nothing wrong with buying used. A lightly-used vehicle is far more sensible than new in many cases. It sounds like you knew you weren't going to buy a Bronco two months ago. B&P was close enough on Day 1 to tell you that.I didn't expect to pay 50k thus, I didn't want to pay that. We didn't get provided with much information at release. I'm posting in the forum section called "General Auto & Other Vehicles Talk". IT's like there is other vehicles to talk about & they give you the ability! If I ever drop out, I'll just go quietly. No need to announce my exit like a spurned employee who was fired and being escorted out of the building.
