Why? So it would be like every other SUV? That’s the uniqueness of a Bronco. It’s an off road vehicle with the possibility of being a full or partial convertible.
I think a lot of people would buy tin top bronco that had less road and wind noise and no worries about leaks or hard tops delaminating or getting broken. I bet the majority of people who buy hard tops will never take more than the front and maybe the middle panels out.

Lets be honest, out of all the Bronco's sold how many are being used for there off road ability? There are alot sold to people who have no intentions of ever removing the top, but having a moon roof would be much more practical for them.

I for one would never remove the top, and all the issues iv read about with the hard tops(cracks, etc) makes me nervous.

Ford offers options because there is not a "one size fits all". I don't get the mentality of some that think whatever there opinion is should be all that is offered? Thats like saying the Mustang should only be offered as a hardtop with a v8.
Ford DOES offer other options: Bronco Sport, Explorer, Expedition, Edge, Ranger. Why would Ford COMPELTELY redesign a full-size Bronco to have a fixed roof because some people prefer a moon roof?

If you don't want a removable-top off-road vehicle don't buy one. PERIOD.

The entitlement never ceases to amaze me.

Edit:
Here you go, I found a fixed top Bronco, and I bet there is a moon roof option.

YES. The wind noise is unbearable in a MIC top.

Then maybe buy something that more closely suits your needs? The Bronco with the ability to fully or partially remove the top is perfect for me.

This post is a great example of how focus testing can ruin good ideas.

Would a fixed top with a moon roof option something others would be interested in?
Well, the idea of the removable roof is appealing to me. We'll see next year how long we keep it off. Wind at freeway speeds without the top is going to be pretty substantial. I'm guessing probably more than with the convertible we owned.

Certainly, a fixed roof would make a quieter Bronco, and that's not a bad thing. Based on my ownership experience today, if I was ordering and that was an option, I would be on the fence about whether to go fixed or removable. I'm sure by next summer I'll be more certain.

I would love a metal fixed rear shell, with the option to hook up a sunrider in front. Best of both worlds.

Only reason I considered a bronco…or jeep for that matter, was the removable top. Otherwise I’d have a 4Runner in my driveway.

Does anyone actually have one? That's pretty dang cool.
I don't have one but have ridden in a Bronco so equipped. The wind noise was ridiculous. Like half open sunroof without a deflector bad.

I don't care that much about taking the top off. Don't care about moon roofs. If there were a fixed roof version of the spendy Ford off road vehicle that can't get removable tops right, I would vote for that. lol
