I'm in the same situation. I'm hoping for a build date this thursday, but not optimistic. Actually I'm not optimistic about getting my Bronco this year with all of the crazy stuff going on in the world and supply issues seemingly getting worse.

I have a shot at a manual trans Big Bend for $45k and an automatic Big bend at $48k. My thinking is that if I buy one of these vehicles now to hold me over until my ordered car is delivered, I can make a lateral move (financially) to the new car...possibly at a small loss. I don't see the car market dropping off a cliff any time soon with the way things are going.

Today I talked to a Ford dealer who said he would jump on that right away with the markups he's been seeing. But I'm on the fence.
