Plenty of non-FEs were ordered ahead of FEs, such as mine because I got in early but had zero interest in a FE. Now if his time stamp is much later than yours, you have a more legitimate reason to be grumpy.

I had the same build and also had tow package. Reservation 5 hours after launch. Changed to soft top and 2.3 and dropped tow and got vin last week. Kept SAS, LUX, leather.

My comment was more based on the very recent statement that commodity-wise, Wildtraks share almost all the same things as a First Edition, especially things that are short and troublesome. However, First Editions have been guaranteed for 2021. So those commodities, logically, when given a choice between WildTrack and First Edition, the smartest move it to go to the FE. And being that delivery dates are going to be 6-8 weeks after build, this week's scheduled VINs are likely going to be bringing us closer to the end of the year.

No one knows for sure. It's all conjecture. Some say 4-6 weeks. Some say 6-8 weeks. It's like trying to guess who will get VINs.

That’s awesome! Is anything showing in the order tracker for you yet? I’m surprised the email came from the dealer and not Ford but if your dealer is proactive with comms that’s even better!

Unfortunately MIC is the only option when ordering a WT.
love the WT but switched my order to a BL and got the soft top and got a VIN

Forgot that...I’m living in 2 door world so thought all 4 doors had that option as we’ve seen tons of preproduction Wildtraks with soft tops as of late!
