This forum hasn't "turned sour". It's followed exactly how Ranger release went and how each new popular model will go while they are using this reservation methodology. Some people read those posts warning of that, others chose to beguile themselves to believe something else and further still some are salty dogs about it.

People are getting disenfranchised that "their" personal favorite or sought after build isn't meeting their internal pricing/content expectations. This forum was always going to devolve into mud-slinging and s-talking as soon as B&P was released. There is not going to be a mash-up Wildtrak/First Edition/Badlands with every option, infinite interior space, unobtanium GVRW, every transmission and both engines for near base price (or less would be nice, right!)

There was about a 0.001% chance Ford was going to successfully decipher the Da Vinci code of thousands of people with wildly different expectations, especially a group of impassioned people on these forums. Perhaps cut those odds in half for a year decimated by Covid 19.

Ford is making decisions for their product based on what will achieve their optimal goal: Selling cars and maximizing profits

Ford didn't make any decisions to piss of Larry and Zester of Shaboigan Kentucky or any combination of individual antagonization. People on here choose to be offended to not have access to what they "thought" or self-logic their way into making decisions on behalf of a multi-national, multi-billion dollar manufacturing corporation with absolutely zero personal investment or access to the information and issues of bringing a globally sourced product into production.

Just flat out clarify if this is an actual "building" experience or are you just going to force us into packages and bundles because it's real hard work to devote an entire production line to a bunch of custom builds.
Ford across their lineup does not do a whole lot of "A la Carte" options. Expanding where the options can go might be something we could suggest, but having every individual thing an option is not going to work for the "batching" of vehicles. (Making a bunch of identical vehicles all at the same time, so one day is dedicated to a bunch of wildtraks with the lux package, next day is dedicated to badlands sasquatch, etc. simplifies a lot of stuff)

Headliner I am not sure, like the MMMP(Missing manual mid package). The roof rack is 100% due to the GVWR, when you are building such an "extreme" vehicle there are just unintended things like that. Ford may have a fix for it in the future but right now the roof rack will just need to be installed on the buyer's end.
Thanks for the clarification. Didn’t mean the last sentence to sound standoffish/snobby. Thought of one more question. Maybe more photos of the pre production models. Maybe side by side photos of the Broncos being inside and outside in the sun.

That was an exquisitely worded rant! A+. Your points are spot on. In full transparency when I read what some people’s expectations are, you realize how impossible the task of pleasing the masses is. It just isn’t how the business world works.

Cold weather group. I just want a base model with heated seats. The only current option is to move up to a Big Bend and add the mid package, which adds over $6000 to the price. And I'm not doing that.

More reason to get a base with zero options and let the aftermarket take care of things.

Would be nice if they threw in a rear e-locker, it's like a 600 dollar option.

A build and Price that we can count on. I want to know that when I build my dream Bronco it is correct. The MSRP for that build needs to be correct.

I agree with @Rick Astley. Ford can't please every one. You can't run a company attempting to please everyone.

But....the biggest let down of the entire launch has been the interior options. With the exception of the Badlands, where you can get all black, the rest of the trims really, and I mean really suck! Their attempt to capture the spirit of the Bronco enthusiast is a big fat FAIL. Even the interior launch video done by Bronco Nation of the actual team leads on the interior was amateur hour. It looks like they slapped it all together over a weekend. And someone pitched "let's put the trim option color as the stitching!" and another person said "crazy cool idea!" and no one, said "Hey, time out!, what the fuck are you guys thinking here?"

Neutral seat option across WildTrack, First Editions. Grey or black. This would be a GAME CHANGER. It is also actually feasible, particularly black.

We have to aim for something actually doable this late in the game.
There should be an all black option for every trim. Not everyone lives in the South and some of us that do still want black.

and standalone adaptive cruise (or even a Safe and Smart package a la the Mustang)
Agreed there should be a standalone Driver Assist Safety Technology Package that includes all of the Safety items in one package, such as the Pre-Collision, Forward Sensing, Adaptive Cruise and Evasive Steering.

I'm pretty sure Missy thinks you should all have Black, Very Light Tan and Digital Camo with Area 51 stitching and accents for your only interior choice.

Didn't want to start a new thread,
but while we're talking changes to available options, how about adding something like this for MY22?

Ice package:
Velocity blue accent trim pieces, heated seats, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel, grey/black MGV

Fire package:
Rapid red accent trim pieces, cooled seats, real rear a/c vents, light MGV

Fire & ice package:
iconic silver accent trim pieces, all of the above options, tan/black/roast MGV/leather

Wind package:
Upgraded B&O high end stereo, big screen, cell phone charger mat, top usb plug and rail, mesh bikini top, carbon grey accent trim pieces, any interior

Earth package:
All the dumb safety stuff, fancy cruise control, gps map stuff, cyber orange accent trim pieces, whatever that blue interior is that everyone hates

Gallop package:
Black accent trim pieces, all black interior, black trim, badges, mirror tops, and shadow black modular top, Ford performance tune 2.7 TT engine w/manual

Any other weird package ideas?
