I got to drive a stock Jeep in Maui for a week. Maui Car Rental rented Jeeps then with no restrictions (rental car companies won't let you go on certain roads.) I wanted one of these at the end of the week.

putting bigger tires on a Bronco and parking next to a stock jeep and kind of bragging about being bigger would be me parking my KL next to a stock Bronco sport and bragging how much bigger it looks because I have a lift and bigger tires

Parked next to a Rubicon today, even though the store I was going to was on the other end of the parking lot.

Bronco is stock.

Anybody could build any jeep or bronco bigger than their competitor provided they have the dough. I'm not looking for Jeeps to park beside.

But parking stock next to stock is interesting, I think, for a perspective of how much taller/different the Bronco is.

Is it just me? Who else loves parking their Bronco next to Wranglers and Gladiators. Especially Rubicons. My Bronco BigBend on 37’s next to a random Rubicon.

Parking lot flexing? Next it will be which one looks better via the Starbucks drive-thru.

So lets see, things Ford stole from Jeep. Wheels? differentials? Windshield? Traction control? Terrain management? 4X4 driveline? Steering wheel? Automatic transmission? nope, everybody's been using all that stuff for quite a while. Electronic locking front diff? Trail turn assist? 10 speed auto (for those who care), Independent front suspension? Don't think jeep has any of that. Even Ford is not the first to have an off road vehicle to do Independent front suspension, H1 hummers, Toyota TRD just to name a few. There's very little that is exclusive to a Jeep now a days.

Let's not go and start saying that X is copying Y when EVERYBODY uses them since a standard vehicle layout has been established (not a true industry standard but just what all car makers tend to layout a vehicle. Pedal arrangement, turn signal indicator stalk, etc), and since 4X4 drivetrain was developed.
