Thanks a million! This covers pinch weld and protects the rocker panel. Dresses up the unfinished look of the pinch weld.
Pics below are accessories catalog pic and actual install on my 2 door WT.
In the below pic, you can see the pinch weld exposed before adding the rocker panel trail armor. As you can see, you can have tube steps too.

HEY, were you able to sell your rails?I have a pair that I wont be using if anyone is interested. I'd be willing to part with them for a fair price.... Shipping cost probably gonna suck tho.
that's great. I just got my set for the 4 door. How did the install go? I have the tube steps also FYI if that makes any difference to the installation. No it doesnāt. They took that into consideration. Iāve installed it.
I have used spray on bedliner many times for undercoating because it is rock hard, easy to apply and affordable. Not sure why I wont do it on my Wildtrac when it gets here.Would it be amateur to put Bedliner over the pinch weld, basically mimic that armor without worrying about rain/snow/salt/mud?
It wasnāt any harder with the tube steps as my obx has them. It was about 30 minutes in the garage.that's great. I just got my set for the 4 door. How did the install go? I have the tube steps also FYI if that makes any difference to the installation.

A little pricey, but WELL worth the money! I couldnāt believe how much better it made it look. Itās the look that it should have come from the factory. I highly recommend getting this. Best bang for the buck with the most positive visual impact mod Iāve made.
so. been thinking about these... wouldn't it trap all sorts of stuff in-between it and the pinch. my f150 rusted behind the front wheel arches bc of the plastic lip of the fender.Wow thatās a well thought out accessory. Enthusiasts griping about the ugly appearance of that pinch weld is so common that you have to wonder why that part of this accessory isnāt standard equipment. Yeah, I knowā¦$$$.
hey, do you like these... does it trap stuff?Mine arrived today, I aim to find time this weekend to install them and I also plan to do a DIY video as well. I have an OBX, which as we know, comes with the side steps.
$209 from OEMpartsquick.com. Best price I could find.
Yeah, had them for around 18 months now, no issues at all - you wonāt regret getting them. They also protect the lower painted areas too which some of the pinch weld covers donāt do. 10K views on my install video too:hey, do you like these... does it trap stuff?
