Yep, I got the rock rails for my bb to cover that weld and protect the rocker from gravel more than to slide over boulders.

Google ā€œImogene Passā€ or ā€œWhite Rim Roadā€ videos ā€¦ these are some trails I am looking forward to trying.
No rails needed on those

I am surprised you can speak so authoritatively without knowing the vehicle specs, the drivers skills, etc?

Well because I've been on them numerous times in numerous vehicles and in any Bronco you will not bounce the rockers on a rock. You may drag the fuel tank, axle or suspension component, but not a rocker. I am assuming the driver is even slightly competent.

A little pricey, but WELL worth the money! I couldnā€™t believe how much better it made it look. Itā€™s the look that it should have come from the factory. I highly recommend getting this. Best bang for the buck with the most positive visual impact mod Iā€™ve made.
Any chance of water getting underneath them? That was my biggest worry with these.

How did you install the trail armor?

Do you need to remove the side step tube first before installing the trail armor?
I am curious about this too.

I did the White Rim in my BL. If you drive off line you "might" find use of your rails but in all reality you won't touch them. Moab on the other hand....can confirm, they come in handy ;)

Better to have them and not need them ā€¦ plus there is the ā€œrocks in tires thingā€ though I wonder if they adequately cover the quarter panels from thrown rocks vs rocks underneath.

They dont provide much cover if any for rocks flung by the tires, at least on the squatch tires. but i agree better to have than not
