Love Your Jeep! That’s the phrase I usually hear. With the patience and understanding of a parent dealing with a naïve child, I just say, “Thank you, but it’s a Bronco.” My mission is to educate the public 😉

At least I am not hearing this as often, “I like your Bronco, I thought it was smaller” (meaning they confused it with the Bronco Sport).

All that being said, there aren’t that many Broncos around for the public to see. I think it will get better in time. Some people use, “Jeep “ as a generic term for all off-road vehicles like some people use “Coke “ as a generic term for soft drinks.

I have the same gentleman innocently tell me time after time that he loves my jeep (my ‘70 Bronco). And time after time, I tell him, “it’s a Bronco!” Like you said, it’s just a generic term he’s using. I still don’t like it though. 😆 I’ve had another individual call my Bronco a jeep, and my 4 year old was appalled! She said, “noooo, that’s a Bronco!” 😂

Could be worse... At least they're not saying "Nice Dodge Caravan" or something (*Insert 4-door joke from @Tricky Dick here*).

The couple times I've heard "Nice Jeep" I just correct them and move on as well.

Is it a regional thing maybe? I’ve never heard that around here, but I can picture people in different parts of the country calling any 4-wheeler a ”jeep”… 💁🏻‍♂️

Im sure many of them are being smart asses. They are calling Ford out for copying the Jeep.
