I have the 22 OBX 4DR 2.7L LUX Package with Advanced 4x4 (No FAD) and M190 Front Differential.
Putting together a list of parts needed to install a M210 and integrating this into the GOAT system.
Have also purchased the Ford Performance ProCal that allows me to change from the M190 to the M210 and I hope it configures existing electronics properly.
My current harness which Ford calls the "WIRE ASSEMBLY - BRAKE WARNING SWITCH" (base part # 2B325) does not have the connector for the ELD Solenoid on the M210.
I'm pretty sure the the part number for the Hero Switch with Front Locker added is M2DZ-13D730-GA
Two questions I suppose.
Does anyone have the part number for the "WIRE ASSEMBLY - BRAKE WARNING SWITCH" with ELD connector for my OBX?
Has anyone done this successfully using the hero switches?
Thanks

MB3Z-2B325-A is what my Wildtrak lists, which has everything you should need.

As far as getting it to work seamlessly with a different hero switch and working GOAT modes, thatā€™s going to be pretty difficult to do I have a feeling.

I've had this connector earmarked for a while, somebody had recommended it a ways back. Luckily the diff I picked up came with the connector so I don't need to buy one. But I will say it looks very similar to this one. Mike could research the part number on b6g and see if anything pops up.

A while back I seem to remember someone successfully integrated it with the hero switches and using Forscan I think. I'll look and see if I have it bookmarked. I personally do not want mine integrated. I'm going to wire it into an AUX switch so I have full control over when I break my front end.

Going to have to look and see if I can find it. I swear I read about someone either making it work or that was very close.

How did you try to make it work. Parts, Procedures, using Forscan or ProCal?

Thanks, I may go this route using this pigtail and get to terminals for the C1137 connector instead of buying the whole harness. Wanted it to look as if it came from the factory.
Yeah that's my problem with the kit that Ford recommends for like $300 and I think it's just some wires a rocker switch and probably a relay. That doesn't look Factory at all, but if I use an auxiliary switch that's already there it's pretty seamless. However some people that have had issues with their FP diff blowing fuses they say Ford performance tells them they should have used the $300 kit... šŸ˜²

Apparently there's some little plastic spacer that if it's missing or in the wrong place it will blow the fuse and not work right.

I thought it would be plug and play with the correct harness and hero switch. No go and then looked in modules with ForScan and couldn't figure it out.

I ended up just wiring it up to an AUX switch.

Oh, and I did try the As-Built differences between mine and a SAS Black Diamond with no luck but I may have gave up too early. I just read that post above! Looks doable!!!

Did you try the Ford Performance ProCal Tune?
When I did the Ford Performance Tune ProCal asks if you have upgraded to the M210.
I planned to tell Procal I now have a M210 and was hoping it would configure everything.

No I don't. Hopefully that changes what needs to be changed in the AsBuilt for you!

You should do an AsBuilt backup before and after and compare them to see what changes are made...

You are right - the Ford kit is just the pigtail, a rocker switch and a relay.

the plastic spacer in question is internal to the m210 - if you arenā€™t breaking it open to replace the coil you donā€™t need to worry about it

the connector - I have the part number for that but need to dig it up. Itā€™s a very standard Ford connector used for a lot of things - I think it shows up as a hood latch connector or something in parts. You would need to make your own wiring and use your own switch/relay or aux switch if you go this route though

I thought someone around here got it working with the hero switches but that was probably me thinking of Orion.

This post - not sure if he got it working but I had bookmarked
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/adding-rear-electric-locking-differential-factory-ish.88656/
That's rear locker - so not sure about forscan values for the front locker - but he gives the process on how get got Factory As-Builts from other Broncos and derived the values. Hopefully someone can find the front locker values too

The connector is WPT829 - which is very common, and that would let you go to your own wiring/switch/relay/aux switch/whatever you want.
