I like your video! Any concerns on mounting a large metal bracket onto the fender lip?Front flap install video in case anyone finds it useful!
Thanks! I'm not too worried about it. I tried to show that they have little braces you add on to the fender that the hardware screws into so it's not just screwing onto the Bronco but it's a little difficult to see if you're not actively looking for it. The third screw being the pre-existing expansion screw farther in (the one shown being removed) should create some good support I'd think. If I ever have any catastrophic revelations, I'll be sure to update! I'm honestly not worried right now though as it seems pretty solid at the moment.I like your video! How flexible are they? Here are a couple of pics of the front mudflap with factory side step. I like them. Good job Mabett.
He said a few pages back that he was already designing them. Those are the ones I'm waiting on.Just got mine today. Hoping to get them on soon. I noticed that the fronts have cutouts for crash bars, my Wildtrak doesn’t have crash bars, anyone know if they make a set without the cutouts?
There's a little flex, but mostly rigid. How flexible are they?
Same here. You would need to cut the fender liner to make the supplied bracket go behind the liner.I put the fronts on my FE last night. Pretty straight forward install. I wasn't able to get the bracket on in between the fender liner and the fender, so I ended up just putting the bracket on the outside of the liner and screwing it in that way.
