"Green Army Man" look 😀. It could use a badge on the side with a green Sasquatch wearing an M1 helmet shooting a flame thrower.

Edit: first stock 4x4 I’ve had since 1997. That I did not resto-mod

I have a company car, I don’t drive the bronco often as I would like to

4) I don’t like Goodyear tires, never have. And the stock ones are terrible to me. Not a huge fan of KO2 Wither and ive run them in the past. These are not loud an look good.

I love Michelin XL and XML.
I loved Michelins when I put 20K mi/ year on a truck. They are not good for a truck that is parked outside and not driven much. The sidewalls seem to deteriorate faster than other brands. I had to replace a set with about 25K Miles and plenty of tread because the sidewalls had alligatored so badly it was a safety concern.

I agree about the GYs. A net $1000 on that swap is a good deal.

Love the winch…
…. did you have to relocated the trans oil cooler???…
….How do you operate the winch clutch???

This is a beautiful seamless installation!!!!
Great build!!!
Send a video of when you are stuck knee deep in mud, logs and rocks. I'd like to see how a guy would gain access to the fairlead hook. I'd think at that elevation you'd either never get stuck or when you get stuck, your winch is full of mud. Just thinking out loud.
Not tryin to hate on anyone but everyone I've pulled out including myself were pretty much buried up past the hubs.

All we have is mid here, I’m 49. I started in 1988 with a m38a1, and had a ton and I mean a ton of 4x4’s

been stuck all kinds of ways

but you know what I got stuck more often on? Approach and departure angle.

and this winch didn’t change either

I have a Bluetooth clutch
So unless the hook is absolutely inaccessible then I don’t care

I say this in years of using a 4x4.

I know nothing of deserts and only been on rocks few times

you don’t always need a winch.
I’ve buried this truck to the hood and got to the winch. And the increased approach angle is why the 42 dodge was mounted differently

Don’t under stand that since I have never used a wench. so I need to look it up.
That would work for most things with a block

keep in mind the block ads load to anchor points too

It allows you to multiply the pulling forces and redirect them

a lot of people on here and all 4x4 forums will tell you you need all kinds of things. The best thing is to enjoy yourself and pick decent lines and know when to go around

I’ll gladly help or teach anything I’ve learned
