MGV sucks

As a current Black Diamond owner, I have to say I agree that the MGV is unbreathable and HOT HOT HOT!

I'm currently using this as I wait for my Wildtrak with cloth. Wife is getting mad at me for taking up so much freezer space, but what can you do

I do miss my ventilated seats that I had on my previous vehicle. However, I understand why the Bronco doesn't have them and I'm not losing sleep over it. But they were nice!

I got the BB specifically so I could get cloth and rear locker. To each there own but back when 6G folks were so excited to get vinyl seats I was thinking these are the same (younger) people that think vinyl records sound better than digital.

I avoided the MGV seats since the leather in my wife’s Wrangler burns the sh$t out of you when you leave the top back.

You could always replace mgv with katzkin ventilated seat covers. I thought I heard they run about 2500 installed.

I have 7MT. No remote start.

I do as well. I found using a windshield sun shade made a world of difference. But, still get swampy. I’m driving a big bend with cloth right now in California and it’s definitely cooler - but, I wouldn’t trade up the other benefits of the MGV for it.

I sweat easy in general but have had absolutely 0 issues with MGV so far. I live in the south and it's been a hot summer as well. I'm a massive fan of MGV.

i have no issues with it, still my favorite of the three options.

disappointed ford didn't do a vented option, they would still retain good washout properties if mgv.

For a daily driver in any hot environment. After driving an hour with ac on max, get where I’m going and back is soaked with sweat. Mgv doesn’t breathe at all (that’s it’s job). For having fun in the dirt it’s great to be able to easily clean.
For daily driver it sucks.
That’s all.
Gonna go order some seat covers now.

NICE 2 DOOR!!!

What is really nasty is wearing shorts and setting your" lilly white" on those seats that could fry an egg!!!!! OUCH!!!!! second degree burn territory!!!

God, I remember my dad had these "whonky" spring loaded ventilated pads that looked like it was digging into his back....those things were hysterical!!!!

What would be nice is to have AC blowing through the vented holes in the seat like an MBZ... or Lexus!!!
That would be nice.

If its any consolation... The Neoprene seat covers I bought for my daughters jeep made me sweat.
