Couldn’t find a thread that was actually still active. Anyone with a MIC 2.0 notice snake skin appearance on the roof? Mine was dirt mountain detainee until November from the august build. Looked great until last week and now you can definitely see a pattern emerging on the clamshell but also on the sides of the other panels.

My take on this is: probably 90% of the tops out there regardless of 1.0 or 2.0, if you look closely enough, you will find some snake skin pattern. I'm not saying that is acceptable, just saying that is the way it is.

There's a couple MIC 2.0 threads out there...I haven't seen any promising reviews that all issues have been resolved.

I've only seen it on mine when camping below freezing temps, so far.

My MIC 2.0 seems to actually be a 1.0 given this snake skin pattern, cut/delaminating edges and driver side leak. I’m very happy to have my Bronco. I just hope this gets addressed at some point.

I'm not even sure I care anymore if mine is snakeskinned. I am curious if a plastic trim restoration product would help hide it.

I think your right most tops are going to have it. Its a combination of the design and the way the color reflects the honeycomb underneath at certain temps. I don't think they will ever get rid of it. I have had my BD since October and the top has been really good. I only see a very light pattern of snake skin when I look for it, no one else notices it. No leaks and very little popping. To be honest I don't think its any better/worse than my uncles 392 hard top.

11/15 build week. I notice it on mine but past the point of caring. I'm looking at a $500k+ composite aircraft in the shop and yeah, you can see patterns under the paint.

Ditto. It sat at Dirt Mt. and I recieved mic 2.0

It has exposed/split edges a bit and snake skin pattern. Particularly on the rear cap.

My 11/15 build looks perfect, I'll try to snap a photo tomorrow. I wonder if you really got the 2.0?
