The LJ bikini was pretty big and had some buffering issues the shorter wheelbase didn’t.
Gotcha, mine is on a YJ.

Modern Fords are pretty bad compared to other manufacturers on the buffeting. Hope they got that squared away.

Form over function? I have a buddy that is a roof engineer, spends lots of time on buffeting. It’s a bit of art and science.

Ok, so I know this has been discussed at length, and I've searched and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. So I apologize, feel free to send links. But with the recent hard top changes, I'm trying to figure out the difference between the MIC hard top and the modular hard top, other than color. I believe the modular has the removable windows in the rear, however are the roof panels still removable in 4 pieces? The picture on the B&P makes the MIC top look like its two pieces, one over the driver and passenger and one over the rear seats. However with the storage bags coming with it for the rear, I find it hard to believe that they are one solid piece otherwise they would not fit in the cargo area. Just trying to decide if I go with MIC hard top or hold out and buy the modular later when it's available. Thanks everyone!

I have the same question. I see that the modular top is a lot heavier and more prone to scratches. I’m thinking that because it’s heavier it’s probably quieter though.

Removable panels are the same, 2 front over driver/passenger, 1 middle over back seat, rear shell with fixed glass panels.
Modular top adds removable side glass panels, is painted. Probably different materials too?

Here is the the design for MIC and Modular tops on the 4DR.
Modular just gets you removable rear windows and a smooth surface (on the 4DR).
