I like seeing it when I clean the front glass. Hope I never have to replace it.

I’m having to get my first windshield replacement and wondering… is the “BRONCO EST 1966” near the VIN included on replacement windshields?

Yep, had my first one replaced today. The new windshield is OEM with the "1966" and "accessory ready" marks.

Had my windshield replaced today and the tech transferred the MAP sticker.
Call his/her manager and make sure they know. That's a person who takes pride in his/her work.

That's word-for-word the conversation that took place in my garage between the wife and I 😄

Maybe it is an age thing, I'm in my 50's.
Yeah, may just be an age component here lol. Just hit 50 and I'm guessing the only reason my MAP sticker is missing is I had the dealer add tint and it was removed then... Otherwise I have every sticker lol. And the factory grease pencil last 4 of the VIN on the back glass.

this is on the underside of the rear window glass

And this Not for sale sticker I moved from the windshield

Only thing I have removed completely and intentionally is the BD badges/stickers. I still have them in a folder waiting for something to do with them. Replaced with my Chiefs badging lol.

Thanks. They had to order it from Ford so sounds like I’ll have the decals. I’ve been waiting about two weeks. Thankfully the crack is behind my sun visor and isn’t distracting to me when driving.

Well... apparently not one that was built with pride I guess...

A while back, another 6g member contacted the UAW union for MAP, and the union sent him one for his replacement windshield.
I did something similar years back with an Explorer Sport I owned. I'm among the bunch to be proud of the vehicles produced in our country.

PM me...It only costs me a stamp and I'll mail it to you. I removed it when I got the tinting done and have it saved...I don't know why until now...

Since picking up my 22 OBX the MAP sticker has been a little nag every time I look at it. I get it, these things can be a pain. Add that it's clear and that ups the degree of difficulty for install. Mine has fingerprints, bubbles, and is crooked.

Found this thread one day and read through it. Thought about contacting MAP / UAW, asked around (friends that are associated / live up there), and in the end, printed my own. It's on clear and I added a little personal touch. Now I just need a much warmer garage to install it. It'll be similar opacity as the factory one. I printed a couple extra in case I too cannot get one on crooked or sans fingerprints.

I'm considering relocating it to bottom driver-side of the windshield. Sometimes it's the little things. This one is more of an annoyance to me than not having digital readout in my HVAC knobs
