Modular black top availability?

Hey guys. I used to be super active here but haven't logged in since mid 2023. I check every now and then to see how the mod scene is coming along

Anyway I have a 21 year bronco and the only thing I want to make it complete is the modular black hard drop. A top that as we know, was a major FAIL on Fords (or their partner) part. They said it'll be 2 years or so until they're available. We'll it's now about 3 years later and I can't find a thing about these tops. Are they canceled ? Can I go to ford dealership and order one? Will they be backwards compatible with my 21?

I just really want this to come to fruition already...

Internal planning documents that got leaked out through dealers suggested they would appear as an late availability item for 2024. But then the UAW strike hit, and all planning went out the window. Good chance those plans have changed.

So... maybe 2025 model year?

It’s been 4 years of “soon”. They couldn’t build white tops so they canceled my heritage order last fall. The black top will come out when the EV bronco does.

So I've definitely seen Broncos with white tops. Are they after market tops? (I'm so out of the loop)

No they’re factory mod tops. Only comes on heritage builds.

Ford is manufacturer white modular tops for heritage edition broncos.
