This may be a stretch but I would try eye makeup remover. It’s oil based, harmless and really good at getting gunk out! May be worth a shot!

It's a long shot, but it might work... try an oil, like corn or olive. It's not going to strip it like a cleaning product, but a lot of these adhesives are slightly soluble in oil. It's going to take a lot of elbow grease by it just might work.

I’d just take it to a car detailing shop, if you’re having no luck. Sucks to hear man!

The secret here is heat. Use a blow dryer or a heat gun on the LOW setting and heat it up, then use the solvents others have stated and it should come off, with some elbow grease. I had a sticker do the same on my Bestop top on my wrangler. A little heat went a long ways with cleaning it off.

Simple green and a blow dryer. Use a plastic edge scraper with a soft rag and work slowly applying alot of simple green and heat. When done, get new friends.

Buddy says worst case he will buy me a new window. I told him I’m pretty sure you can’t just buy a window at this point.
You can't buy a window (are they even replaceable?) but you can buy the panels, I had the rear panel replaced under warranty, took a couple of weeks to arrive, but it did eventually.

Can't believe it took 4 pages. Yes, heat. Patience, plastic scraper.

It was below freezing last night. Cold again today. I had a 6 a.m. call at the office today so I had to just remove the windows until I figure something out.

I am fucking furious.

I would expect a new window, period. That's just not cool.

I would take it to the dealer and claim it under comprehensive insurance coverage as vandalism and get a new one. all the heat and chemicals will likely ruin it. Your "buddy" is an idiot.
