We just installed the LoD Destroyer series sliders on the Northridge4x4 Bronco:

My wife has the Rock Slide Engineering sliders on her Base Squatch. They are perfect for those wanting a slider, but needing a step.

Here's the video we did on the install:

Still happy with them?

Yes, still have both the LoD and the Rock Slide Engineering steps on the Broncos.

The wife really likes her RSE Step Sliders, with those drop down steps.

She doesn't like climbing into my Bronco. Boy is she really going to hate it when the 37s go on..... šŸ˜†

Has anyone actually damaged the body with a body mounted rockslider? The rocker panels appear to be extremely beefy.
Sorry unrelated but I sent you a message regarding your 65 mustang

Just to pile on to this comment...

Does anyone make a bracket that would tie the OEM sliders to the frame? It may be a good bridge for those of us who aren't looking for something, "bullet proof" but better.

Iā€™m also trying to decide between the LOD Signature rock sliders and the RCI 20* sliders with the plates. I prefer how LOD did theirs with the inside riser for a flat step surface AND the angle, also hiding the pinch welds well. I donā€™t like the fact I have to drill 4 holes each side to function as a proper rock slider.

Maybe if RCI combined their 2 versions and had the 20* angle, with a flat top step plate, it would be a no brainer since no drilling is reqā€™d with their setup. I also prefer that kick out RCI hasā€¦ Their 5* works better as a step, but hangs too low and doesnā€™t hide the pinch weld at all.

Both of these seem to be the most solid frame mountsā€¦

GOAT also seems to be solid if youā€™re ok with going the body mount route, like factory, but I would still trust a frame mount more IMO.

BTW I ended up going woth the GOAT sliders and are very stout. I liked how they hid the pinch weld and tucked up. I haven't tested them against the rocks, but several on here have and state they can support the weight.. So far I'm happy with the look and they help block rocks from the Territories!

Some pics of the different styles available with and without the top plate.

Both work great for a step just down to preference on looks.

We are currently back down to about 2 week lead time as of today.
