New Raptor-style tail light upgrade

Upgraded my base halogen tail light & 3rd brake light to a raptor-style setup.

Tail lights are from Mabett, and 3rd brake light from LitMiRaCle. Both on Amazon. Whole setup cost me $340. Took me 2 hours but I think it can be done quicker.

I think they are much brighter than the halogen and overall look better. What are your thoughts?

Oh wow, that’s crazy. Reason I bought these was cause I thought they look cool and they are a lot cheaper than other aftermarket taillights. Is that a common issue with mabett or did they get a defective product?

1 day down, no fire so far lol

Was thinking of buying the flush oracle tail light but not a huge fan of the flush look.

probably not a common issue, but I wouldn't think "quality" when buying cheap Chinese crap. Granted, many large companies use Chinese stuff, but mabett is probably a few levels below that.

Well since you asked...Raptor taillights are ugly AF. They look like cheap Amazon pod lights crammed into the fender.

And everyone needs to calm down about the ONE Mabett taillight issue that was blown out of proportion.

I've had those same taillights on that thread, from Mabett, and have had no issues. Maybe install error? Maybe defective? Just like many sync units, backup cameras that are black, 2.7 engines, cam phasers, etc. Y'all calm down. Snowflakes...

But yes, always a good idea to have a fire extinguisher handy.

I saw a Bronco on highway 80 last week that had Raptor lights installed and I thought they looked fantastic. I would consider this upgrade but might prefer to wait for other options to be available, as the ones you installed seem to have mixed reviews.

I have these taillights and like them. Also, should probably have a fire extinguisher regardless if you have cheap Chinese electrical stuff or not
