Is this only on the 12 inch display vs 8in? I haven't noticed a change yet

You got me on this one... no idea?

EDIT........... after I posted the reply, I figured it out!

Good catch and DAMN!

I'll have to go the "ATM" and pull out some cash and buy my way out of this mess.
Be careful while ramming the debit card into the slot.

You think you hate updates? My update had this on the screen at the start up sequence... then it started playing content.................... while my Mother-in-Law was in the back seat while my wife and I were driving her to Church yesterday!

PORNO DISCLAIMER
No actual porn content was displayed on the start-up sequence... this is 100% sarcasm!
Well that would make the drives more exciting !!!

Supposedly, this update helps with projection/Bluetooth. Carplay seems to be a bit snappier, and although I haven't had as many issues as others with Carplay crashes, etc., mine would glitch out and only show half the map sometimes. I figured this might have fixed that.

Second time I turned it on after the update... business as usual.

Oh, and yeah... I miss the old startup animation.

Yup, 10.1 debuted a similar style logo on the F150s as well. Glad to see it’s starting to roll out for us, hopefully it fixes the no audio bug with CarPlay

I had gotten the update, and was bummed about losing the rolling rocks startup. Even worse was my two year old was mad about losing it as she always watched it while I'm buckling her in. Then, yesterday, while buckling her in like always, she was pointing and saying "horsey back! horsey back!" Sure as shit the startup returned. Maybe it just takes a while and it'll return?

Weird. I got the new update and now I have the boulders back, they have been gone for 6-8 months.

Compass still points North no matter what though. (and no it's not the sending unit, it reads correctly on the dash display)

And it turned Hill Start Assist back on. Seriously, do I have to turn that stupid thing back off every single time it updates? At least it didn't set my clock to Greenwitch time this time.

My 21 Black Diamond was updated by the Dealer when they were troubleshooting my inoperative compass and inoperative auto clock update. Now I have no animation, and the compass and clock update still do not work.

Jeez Ford. Do you know what you are doing? I’ll complain louder than anyone. My POS 2023 F-150 can’t make up its mind what it wants on the dash or center stack. Sometimes, it just says “Screw it! Let’s shut off everything and let the driver guess what speed they are driving, how much fuel they have…”. Only been figuring a fix for 6 months. Why rush? The 2.7L cam phaser issues and the 10-speed issues… let’s wait until they are 10 years old, and just offer new drivetrains. 🙄

Hey Everyone, A recent software update has changed the start up sequence on the center screen that used to show the Bronco horse and the boulders. This new one is of a Bronco silhouette on a blue background. Anyone know how I can get the old animation back? It was way better than this new one in my opinion.

This why I’ve turned updates off since I got mine in Feb. the startup animation is unique. Why kill it. Probably too hard to explain the animation to the offshore programmers. Easier to just say “just make it a horse”
Yeah, non-Americans are dum! Technology is bad! Freeedom!!!
