That means now you won’t know anything until a few days before it’s built. Then it will be quick assuming your vehicle is not short parts. Email saying it’s built then 2-3 weeks later should be at your dealer. I prefer the old way, easier to plan things when you might need to sell your other vehicle and get a loan.

I would rather get an email even earlier than now, not less of a lead time. It makes a huge difference to me if I am likely 6 months or longer or just 2 months away.

These people are idiots. This is the most counter-productive thing they could do. They’ve taken away the only consistent part of their communication plan.
