We have a potentiometer that is easily wired: https://www.oraclelights.com/collec...oducts/oracle-led-dimmer-switch-potentiometerAll you electrical gurus: What is the best way to wire in a dimmer? I m going for a more subtle glow
We didn't have to drill to install for wiring, just to extract the original letters. The wiring passed thru the holes that the original letters used.Anybody have an install video yet? When the instructions say “drill holes for cables to pass through,”… drill holes in what and where? The wires coming from each letter are only 16 inches long. Do I need to buy some more wire and splice these all in together somehow to reach the aux wire? Are there other items I need to complete the project? Assume I know absolutely nothing about wiring and go from there…
Did you wire them with the DRL or to one of the AUX switches? We didn't have to drill to install for wiring, just to extract the original letters. The wiring passed thru the holes that the original letters used.
I like and still waiting on shipment. When ordered, I was told I made the cutoff and should ship within the week. Still waiting, no word (email) on shipment tracking... Guess it will be a 2022 install.
Eville truck has a video that does this for a different reason.Anybody have an install video yet? When the instructions say “drill holes for cables to pass through,”… drill holes in what and where? I have a temp install - tied to fuse that is Aux powered. Still trying to locate what wire I can use which is tied to the DRL or driving lights. No luck around finding the right wire - but haven't run a tester to any wires. Hopefully someone has a wiring diagram I can useDid you wire them with the DRL or to one of the AUX switches?
