So I am a victim of the new required changes to get a bronco this year.

My dealer might have come up with a solution to getting me the top while still ordering the bronco... He mentioned doing a "We-Owe" form and I get the top by them ordering it through the parts department. Don't know if this is possible yet, just wanted to throw that out there for others incase you can get your dealer to make it work for you. I will update once I hear back.

I’m sure as long as you pay for it, yes, they’ll let you order it.

You will fall out of your chair when you find out the “we owe” price you will pay for this “loophole”

there will be no way a top shows up in The system given the current major constraint

Ford removed the Hard top from the parts store last week apparently. So they can't even order it for the recall customers at the moment. Go Ford.

Someone else went to order MIC and it was $15k if I remember right. I’d get the advanced fiberglass for 6k. Look better and probably better quality

Priced out ordering a soft top from parts. Even that was 12 or 13k.

My dude, I'm sorry but this is not a new idea and it's not going to work out.

If ordering factory hard tops separately was viable, we would already have dealers packaging them as a single priced item and selling them for profit. Places like Levittown do this for other vehicles, and sell things like Mustang 6-piston brake kits with calipers, rotors, fasteners, and lines.
