What the charts tell me is the 10AT is more efficient than the 7MT, which is surprising in my old-school brain. That’s pretty cool, but I’m still getting the 7MT.
How do you figure? On like for like trims the mileage is identical between AT/MT. That's with the MT being handicapped with a lower final drive resulting in higher RPMs at the same speeds.

Without commenting on whether these numbers are “good” given the shape of the vehicle and/or outputs of the engine, my one criticism is:

The tanks are too small for a vehicle that gets these numbers.

This won’t prevent me from buying my 4-door FE, but I would NEVER purchase a vehicle that has the range a 2-door 2.7 SAS has.

Kinda funny how MPG is separating the men from the boys in a vehicle made to go off-roading.

If you've ever spent anytime in a non-aerodynamic, heavy vehicle with this kind of gearing and big tires, you would know these are actually decent numbers.

If you want better numbers, the Bronco Sport is now waiting for you at your local dealer.
Will my manhood be restored, if I hang a pair of those huge plastic nuts on the back of my commuter?

Anyone bitching needs to stop with their dreamy purchase plans and get back where you belong - in an aerodynamic bean shaped electro car.
The Bronco is a brick and I hope like hell they don't "refine" it.

There's got to be something off about that right?? I mean that 2.3 auto BL not only has worse HWY MPG than City, but the 2.3 actually has worse MPG HWY than the 2.7, which confuses me to no end.
I think because Badlands is the heaviest vehicle and maybe using the 2.3 requires more gas because it lacks the HP? Just guessing here 🤔

How is it possible that the Black Diamond gets one measly MPG better than Sasquatch? The added weight of the steel bumper can't be so bad that it yields the same MPG as a beast riding on 3" bigger tires with a similarly heavy setup.
I have the same concern about the BD, looking both up and down the list.

Glad to see I know what my mileage would be if I could buy a manual outer banks. Just saying.

These numbers pretty much justify me buying a 4Runner, instead...However, the numbers for the Jeep are complete BS! Myself and my wife have owned multiple Jeeps and those numbers aren't even close to real world!
The 4Runner will get the same mileage or worse. The 4Runner is pretty much guaranteed to last longer and require less maintenance. You won't get the removable top, but you do get the lowering back window which is cool. I've had 3 4Runners (3rd, 4th and 5th Gen) and have nothing bad to speak of with any of them. I'm still getting my Bronco for the cool factor and removeable roof. Maybe do a drivetrain swap in the future to Toyota if those Dana 44's are as weak as they are in Jeeps.

I was considering a Toyota Tundra, alongside the Bronco and/or Ranger Raptor. So I did not expect anything better from the Bronco. I am usually cheap when it comes to any purchases for myself. This, however, is reasonable for the setup we are all considering. I remember the gas lines from the 70's, if it gets even close to that again; gas mileage wont be your biggest concern at that point!

My guess is that sway bar disconnect is HEAVY!

I don't understand why 2.3 and 2.7 have practically the same MPG on Sasquatch and Badlands, and why does Badlands 2.3 Auto on 33in tires has worst MPG than Sasquatch 2.3 Auto?

Everybody's opinion I have read the last few months here was that 33in would have 1-2 better MPG than 35, and that 2.3 would have 2mpg higher than 2.7. Definitely not the case here.
You can have a 2.7 Sasquatch and have the same MPG as a 2.3 Badlands on 33s. Weird.

Looks like I'll be filling my 2.7 SAS up every 200-225 miles. No biggie.
