I would wait until v3 is released before filing a warranty claim. Your replacement top will not likely be any better.
I highly doubt v3.0 will ever (ofically) see the light of day. Ford has learned its lesson on publicizing the issues behind future Dirt Mountians.

Commodity shortages will be the catch-all explanation from now on IMO.

This is how mine shipped. I never really noticed it until after 2 months when the top came all the way off.

I have exposed lamination layers on my 2022 MIC top. They aren't splitting but I feel like it's only a matter of time. I'll be keeping a close eye on it throughout the summer. At least mine doesn't leak in the rain.

Technically not a recall, ask them if you qualify for Customer Satisfaction Program 21B49

Details linked here
So I have a gen 1 hard top, as my Bronco was built 6/21. I received letter from Ford, over the Winter I believe, stating that I qualified for a new top and had until Sept 2022 to replace. Unlike most, I am happy with my original top. Have not seen any delamination and very, very small amount of "snake skin" that's only visible in the right light and you're looking for it. I have been holding off on getting top replaced in hopes they might actually start making quality tops. If I wait past September, will I still be eligible to get a replacement top if mine starts delaminating? If not, will my original top still be covered by warranty since I elected to NOT have it replaced? Thanks.

I swear at this point with all of the soft and hard top problems I would only get a Bronco if I could keep it topless all the time. Which would mean I would need a garage and it would only be a secondary vehicle. Makes me more glad I just put my order in 99 status yesterday. I'm waiting it out for a while.
This is me. I have a hard & soft top plus a secondary vehicle. I only keep the soft top on because I live in Florida and it can rain at any second. Doors are usually off unless it needs a wash. But with this heat, they may stay on more during the summer.

I was just telling my brother i may consider selling my hardtop because Im not using it much. Winters don't get brutal enough to where the softtop can't handle it.

The 2.0 never seemed like a significant improvement to me. Mine has some issues as well, but I'm going to hold off on the warranty claim until they can actually figure this thing out. Really (and this will never happen) I wish Ford would just offer an upgrade program when the Mod top comes out. Give us a credit for what we paid for the mic, and offer the mod at OE pricing.
Same here. Mine had obvious issues from the factory but I've been kicking it down the road until a real replacement comes along. My hope is they move to the modular tops exclusively so they're forced to replace these with something better but time will tell. We shouldn't have to pay anything extra to get a top that's going to hold up long term.

They'll get this figured out by Gen 14. (y)
Yep, when they use aluminum......and maybe they'll have framed windows on the doors by then too.

'22 Bronco. My clamshell started to bubble, for lack of a better term, a couple of months after delivery. Dealer ordered a replacement which arrived this week and is being installed next week. The front passenger panel has already been replaced.
