Already have the new Bronc's vanity plate on my old F250 which has been called 'Ed' for 20 years.
So technically Ed is incognito for the next unknown number of months while Ford does whatever?
We called my dad's F-100 Ed :)

My family named our camper van the 'Lazy Daizy' because it had flowers painted on the door when we bought it. Also an appropriate name for a hot box on wheels. We spent years building it out and making it ours, and the kids grew up with it. I've sold that to fund the Bronco and it's the new family toy, so there were no questions that it was being named and being deemed the Lazy Daizy's little brother. Other than these two I've never named a vehicle, but growing up my friends trucks all had names.

EDIT: Sorry for all the pics, got a bit nostalgic and wishing I hadn't sold it since my build was pushed for a chip shortage.

Have always names all our cars. I know lots of people who do, and lots who don't. Don't think it's a 'Jeep thing' at all 🤣

For those that name their vehicles, do you actually use those names? Do you say to your boss “Hey Carl, I have to leave early today because I have to drop off Miss ‘Ol Blue Belle for her oil change this afternoon”?
We definitely use their names - our toddler still talks about our beloved 'Meatball' we sold a year ago and he uses their names to talk about who he wants to ride in. Would I say it to a person I wasn't close friends with who had no idea what I was talking about? Probably not. Except maybe if I was talking about Vlad, our 67 Impala.

Growing up every station wagon we had was called Betsy; I don't know why. In the past, I've named two of my cars. One was a reddish orange that I called tomato because the color reminded me of a tomato, and my Mini Cooper I call my Mini.

I will most likely just call my Bronco, Bronco, unless for some reason I start calling it by some nick name. I just hope I don't end up calling it lemon or mistake. ;)

My TJ which I just sold because I have too many vehicles was named Leakin' Lena (from Beanie and Cecil) because it had the classic Rear Main Seal oil leak. My Bronco's name will be Billy after the Clint Eastwood movie "Bronco Billy". My parents always named their cars so its "Just a Family Tradition" to quote Hank Junior!

when I got my (shadow black) Raptor back in 2013, someone said, If Batman had a truck..."
So, in the Fordpass app, I labeled it "BATRUK".
In 2019, my (shadow black) Ranger became "BATRUK JR".
so, now my (shadow black) Bronco is "Batsquatch".
I never actually refer to any of them as such, it's just the way they are labeled in the app though...

I name all my vehicles; always have ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Same. Always name my vehicles. Bonnie Rotten is the Bronco and Big Bertha is my 14 Ram Cummins.

Even though both our names are on the title, my wife calls it "your bronco" and I call it "my bronco". So, I guess it depends on who you talk to. :) I did name her "Mint-to-B" because it took soooo long to get here.
