Only my teardrop trailer has a name, and the nameplate is made and mounted by the builder. They do that for all their trailers. Somebody at work helped me pick the name, and it was a good one.

As a teenager we had an old Cougar in an olive green metallic. A horrible car, but that's what we had. The wheel fell off once. That car wouldn't die. We called it the "Roach". A few other cars had some names, but there was no forgetting the ROACH. I hope it finally died nobly somewhere.

The Wrangler is just the Jeep. The Bronco will be the Bronco. It's gotta a lot of places to go.

I’ve never named my vehicles - or my motorcycles, for that matter. But my wife likes to name her vehicles, and since the Bronco is technically hers, she named it Barry. And I’m not going to argue…
I've never named any of my bikes/cars either, never will. My wife did name her LR, and it's not something that I'm willing to pick a fight over.

As far as the Jeep wave thing from the OP: I've owned 2 Jeeps and I won't wave at one of the 10 billion others that are on the road.

I don't name my vehicles but I do respect the Bullitt mustang but that is on a whole different level.

My 73 is named Archie. It was an Arizona truck that had a badly cracked vinyl dash. The original owner put a cover on it that was embroidered with "archie", it just stuck.

"Jeeople" have the jeep "wave" . Do bronco owners name their broncos? Is this a thing? Do we even need or want a "thing"?

Thoughts?
I’m not naming but everyone is pronouncing bronco wrong. Not “brr-ron-co” …. Mine is “bee-ron-co”. Sincerely Ron.

For those that name their vehicles, do you actually use those names? Do you say to your boss “Hey Carl, I have to leave early today because I have to drop off Miss ‘Ol Blue Belle for her oil change this afternoon”?

The Ford app asked me to name it in the profile so I named it Pancho, Pancho the Bronco. Otherwise, I would have never named it. Kinda fun to see where Pancho is on my Ford app location when I am out traveling.. nestled in my garage, out of the Denver winter storms. Lol gotta have some fun with it
