So, was this the first communication you have had with the dealer at all, or just since the order process opened up? Seems a lot of people on here are not being proactive at all about their Bronco, and then being surprised when the dealership isn't all that concerned either.

unfortunately up until now a lot of the dealers have been reluctant to commit to anything

Run, don’t walk to another dealer. However, I would research who you move it to. Plenty of people on here can help if you find someone in the same area.
