My 2022 order was pushed to 2023.
I have ordered a 4-door, 2.3, sasquatch outer banks. I'm contemplating going for the 2.7 but would like to hear from the current owners of a 4-door Sasquatch package or 35's regeared; how do they feel about it?

Same. I have a 2.3 4D SAS BL coming in two weeks, and an order for a 2.7 4D SAS BL unscheduled. I wanted the 2.7 but hedged my bets with another dealer, and oops, the 2.3 is first out of the gate.

I'd love to be able to enjoy the 2.3, but want to know now if I should think about flipping my 2.3 once the 2.7 is built

Non-squatch BL here with the 2.3 7spd. Not a moment of displacement envy. Especially with the early batch/run of 2.7 issues.

I plan on keeping this thing for decades. Long term the 2.3 kind of reduces the number of parts issues.

1 turbo
1 head gasket
1 valve cover gasket
1 exhaust manifold
1 downpipe
less turbo hot and cold piping/connections
fewer injectors
fewer coils
fewer plugs

The manual was a major reason I went with the 2.3...it would have been tempting if the 2.7 came in a manual as well. I honestly do not know if I would or would not have a 2.7 if manual was an option. That said I have no regrets with the 2.3 in the end though.

My last bronco was a 5.0 AOD with 3.55 gears the 2.3 has more power than the 5.8 that was available. Gets a lot better MPG too.

I own a 7speed sasquatch but have also driven the auto 2.3, no regrets with my engine choice. It's plenty of power and more.

I will probably never buy another new vehicle, unless some moron dictator mandates no more gasoline...

Not one regret. My 2.7 f150 was overpowered.

Not really.

Doesn't feel all that fast but watching the speedometer says it's plenty quick enough...

yup. Manual was a priority for me so 2.3 was it.

I could have written this almost word for word. It did make me stop and think, what if they had mated the manual to the 2.7 only? My love for the manual may have won out over my disdain for the V6, or I might have sat this one out. Dodged a bullet there.

OP, 2.3L in Badlands Sas here. I worried about the same thing after ordering, but now that I have it, no problem. I love driving it. It's certainly not a red light drag racer, but is quite sufficient. I never find myself wanting more zip and almost never "put my foot in it". And I don't have sport mode.

There's no comparison to my other car w/ 405 hp weighing 3,300 lb. When I feel the need for a different driving experience, out it comes.

Don't over think it. You'll be fine w/ the 2.3.
